an 1100 wid just 62 bhp??? the wagonR's 1061cc engine produces 62 bhp...

i think bullet 500CC is around mid latish twenties BHP, so 1100 CC for 62 bhp is justified, its a cruiser anyway

Well,
he power output of an engine is not always dependent on the cc. The dragstar engine is a v-twin whereas the wagon R has an inline 4 engine and power op is 62bhp. A yamaha R1 with a 998cc has a peak power op of 150bhp! So its not always the cc which matters dudes.

when U talk 'bout Bullet.
What U are talking 'bout is an
engine that has been simply bored out for more power.
And the original engine is still based on the 1950's crap engine.
So, nearly half a decade old engines don;t produce much horses,do they??
And what rash says is completely right.

The bullet engine does do something good.
It has the ever so sweet exhaust note
but that can be put down to it having push-rods
which incidentely even Harley Davidsons have and the resultant exhaust note.

if u read d overdrive article carefully..u will notice dat its mentioned dat honda is coming out wid a proper high capacity (600+cc) next yr jus like yamaha is coming up wid d drag star

o-150 : 19.90 secs

And its a cruiser bike with more attention to torque than bhp(power),hence only 62bhp.

Since so much torque is available see the acceleration figures and due to limited power top speed it upto 160kmph.
Overdrive says this bike can eat Mondeos,Vectras and Mercs for breakfast.Read the full article and see every point has been given full marks.

ya its very much true.The big dragstar is coming all the way to india.Its a mammoth sized bike .Havin v-twin cylinder engine producing 62 bhp that is equivalent to what a Wagon r produces.Priced at whopping 5 LAKH RS.I have a doubt that it will find any buyers in India.The top speed is 160 KMPh. But whats the use of it when we cant even touch 80-90 kmph on Indian roads for more than 5-10 minutes.
I its bit like Kinetic Aquila havin 2 chrome plated silencers.But Aquila produces healthy 26 bhp from 250 cc. But this engine doesnt generate much horses with heavy 1100cc engine.
Headlight,indicators,sitting position is same like Aquila.Well it will be launched after 3 months .Lets wait and watch.
