Ever since the launch of the unicorn Honda realised its mistake and was gonna be re-launching unicorn again with a self starter and I think this was discussed earlier too in the previous topics regarding the unicorn and am pretty sure many people might already be knowing bout it.If BHP is power than I consider myself as GOD.

May be he is pointing to Unicorn and Unicorn with Self start or Hero Honda or the last competetor is Pulsar.I wnt to showroom three times first to book then buy then first servicing, but till date no news about Self Start Unicorn. My first and last passion 1979 Legendry Honda CBX,as sound+looks is not power.
sound+power=looks.

Honda unveils self-start Unicorn
22.39 IST 12th Jan 2005
By IndiaExpress Bureau
After rolling out the first motorcycle from its stable in October 2004, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. today introduced the self-start version of the bike and said it aims to sell 65,000 units by March 2005.
This target includes 7500 units of the self-start model, which is available at Rs 55,982 in Delhi, Rs 57,812 in Mumbai, Rs 58,534 in Bangalore and Rs 58,998 in Kolkata, the company said in a statement in New Delhi.
Honda Motorcycle has already sold 26,000 Unicorns in India in the last three months.
''The Unicorn has received an overwhelming response from the market. In the short span three months since its launch, Unicorn sales have already touched 10,000 units level per month. We expect to further build on that through the self-start model,'' HMSI Director (Sales and Marketing) K Iguchi said.
Self-start Unicorn is available in 5 colours and meets Bharat stage II norms, it said.
With a 13.3 bhp engine, Unicorn offers the best pick-up in its class. Fitted with the state-of-the-art Mono-suspension and a strong and flexible Diamond frame, the Unicorn is crafted to render smooth drive, it added.

I think the company shud fit an electric start to the non electric ones which it has already sold ( unicorns) when it releases in jan or feb or whatever and shud fix it at a price which matches the new one..sort of injustice i think..i mean if the new unicorn with electric start costs 60K..and the old one without it costs 56K+(with accessories)..it shud do it at the same price almost. Am sure an external one would cost more 5K+.
We are not benefitting are we?
Any inputs??
