    I think bajaj should restart its scooter firm because in India there still are the people who would love to ride chetak again,it can also give a good competition to the geared scooter market leader the LML.The 4-stroke engine of lml are very sucessfull in europe and with some modification to bajaj scooter engine it can give a good competition to lml

    PS Are some scooters still left in bajaj stables??

      Plus, they can claim better mileage by a big margin compared to Activa, Aviator, etc. But frankly speaking, Chetak should be somewhat redesigned if they decide to launch it.

      No, Bajaj has no scooter left in its stable. Kristal (100cc gearless female-oriented scooter) was launched few years back, but its stopped and even its spares are getting rare now.

      Anyways, they better focus on being No. 1 in the Global motorcycle industry. Makes perfect business sense as there are a whole lot of markets around the world left to be explored...

          plus 1 to that it should be designed like vespa lx 125 or like vespa 300 gts super with digital meter,front disk brakes and if bajaj decide to launch scooters in my view their first choice would be chetak and due to emission norms in future it would be powered by 4stroke engine.
