Appropriately-named REEVU says the helmet was 10 years in development and allows the wearer to see the road behind as well as in front through a system of unbreakable polycarbonate mirrors inside the helmet..

Costs south african money 2200, i dont kno the conversion so yore on yor own..

When riding wearing this and some truck/bus with 4X 100W high beams comes directly behind, what will happen?

      But still, nice helmet.

Guys, South African Currency is "Rand". and 2200 Rand is 13646 Indian rupees! Face reality. Now, tell me who's getting it for himself?

Jokes Apart, I think we can do with rear view mirrors. And secondly, I think we can create such helmet ourself... Can't we? Is there something too complicated about it?

            read the comments guys

            1. Will headlights from behind dazzle me? NO. The optic has a filter. That is why you have to try the lid on outside as it reacts best in natural light.

            2. What is the optic made of? A bulletproof material that acts as a crumple zone if you crash.

            3. Will the optic distract me? No more than the mirrors on the bike.

Rs. 13000 for a good quality helmet is not considered expensive overseas. Arai, Shoei etc cost north of Rs.20,000 anywhere in the world, unless it is a closeout deal.

Cool stuff .. Nice innovation, but will take some time to get used to it. Anyone who picks this one will be confused while driving the first time around...

^Agreed, but then so it is with first time users of full riding gears. I had seen this some days back. Very innovative.

                          LOL!! Rear view mirrors?

Again, this isn't some rocket science. I still stress we can make a good one, with internal RVM, for about 5k or so...
It needs time and commitment though.
