    Dada unveils Vibgyor Group's 125 and 150cc bikes.

    The Bengal based manufacturer calls Cricketer Saurav Ganguly are priced at Rs 41,990 and Rs 49,000 (ex-showroom Kolkata) respectively.

    Both the bikes will be 4 stroke single cylinder with 5 speed transmission. Other basic commonalities include electric start options and front disc brakes. While the 125cc churns out a power of 7.2 kw at 9000 rpm, the bigger model generates 9.6 kw at 9500 rpm.high end 200cc bike

    My Comments: Some facts really shock me here, for example:-->

    1. Maximum power at 9500 rpm. Company like this, making a high revver?

    2. DESPITE such high revs, power is only 9.6 bhp and 12.86 bhp respectively?
    It seems less for their respective capacities which are 125 and 150...

    3. 200cc bikes in future? And what will they rev upto? 12-13k??

    This seems to be a really ambitious and strange company. Pardon my lack of info, if so.

      can we trust Indian engines with all specifications and delivery a mess??? time will make them learn...........but such brave approach is commendable.These bikes sound as confusing as Suzuki bikes with XTP.

        looks like bikes made from cheap chinese parts ,
        maybe dada wud give us some warranty for the bikes.

          Bike seems quite similar to few Chinese bikes. So are the peculiar power delivery from 125/150 CC mills!

            It was there in Auto Expo. Truly a VIBGYOR bike. Tank from Hunk, headlight pulsar, console pulsar (old design), dalda silencer etc etc you get the idea.

                Exactly! Even I was wondering that a 150cc mill is taken to 9500 rpm for only 12.5~ bhp?
                Even our Fz gives 14 at 7500 rpm or so!

                This could mean that either they have tuned it for mileage or badly tuned or maybe, tuned for more low end/ mid range torque.
                Plus we hope its smooth and durable enough for high revving.

                Let's hope someone from Xbhp will test it and tell us what's in it.

                  I visited the Vibgyor group's website and it says "Vibgyor Vehicles a part of the Vibgyor Group has launched 2 wheelers of 100cc, 125cc, 150cc and 200cc."

                        ^^^ The Times of India on that day has the news covered with a photograph. Yes, with Dada in it.

                        Now comes the news that the company doesnt have good business morals

                        @Santosh, it would be useful if you can provide a link to such an information vrom any news paper or what so ever.

                          of course they have to have chinese collaboration....... their was another co. also....... they produced cheap 100cc n 125cc bikes....... the 100cc cost below 20k....... so, this maybe like that........ lets wait n watch.......

                            to be honest.. after all the fanfare and launch at the expo.. there isnt much news about this company.. can members from kolkatta shed some more light on this??

                              They had a stall at the Auto Expo

                              they even gave me a tshirt Signed by Gangully
                              But just after first wash Tshirt showed its true color

                              Now I wear it during Night
                              No Matter Whether Guys buy 220cc Pulsars or 350cc Royal Enfields,
                              It is used only to follow a 80cc Scooty Pep...
