MapmyIndia – GPS devices, location apps and GIS solutions provider – has launched Trailblazer 2, a new GPS navigator designed for bikes. The device is charged through the bike battery and has a special clamp mount to keep it steady on the handlebar. One can listen to the MapmyIndia Trailblazer 2 voice instructions with any standard A2DP Bluetooth headset. All pillion riders can tune in to listen to directions from the unit as well.
Shivalik Prasad, executive director, MapmyIndia said, “The number of bikers has risen dramatically and therefore, we decided to launch Trailblazer 2. It addresses not just their daily travel needs but also allows them to seek new travel routes for their recreational road trips.”

19K sounds way too expensive
Standalone GPS makers should understand the very point that smartphones are hot at their heels and can accomplish 95% of tasks done by Navigation units, at lower cost and greater portabilityBiking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!
