  • Harley India to auction its first bike

The highest bidder will get to ride the first official Harley Davidson on Indian soil
US bike maker, Harley Davidson, formally announced their entry in India by showcasing a dozen hand picked models during the Auto Expo 2010 at the national capital. The show stealer was a gleaming Fat Boy custom painted in the Indian tricolour displayed right in the centre of the Harley pavilion. This machine will be the first bike to be sold by the firm in India and you can be the proud owner of the brawny bike. If you are the highest bidder, that is.

his custom Fat Boy will be auctioned by Harley Davidson India around March-April 2010 and if you would like to own the first official set of wheels by the American firm on Indian soil then start bidding like there's no tomorrow. The one who can out bid others will be seen rolling on this one-of-a-kind cruiser, probably with an open face helmet. After all he would like to flaunt his prized possession.

The normal Fat Boy has a sticker price of Rs 18.45 lakh, so the tricoloured custom version would cost more... much more. The Harley price ranges from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 35 lakh and the booking will start from March 2010 and the delivery from June this year.

If budget is a constrain then catch the blokes at ICICI bank who are willing to finance the Harleys starting at 11% rate of interest for a period of up to five years.

Nice! But back there where it came from People were making racial comments on the paint scheme this specific bike has!
They were saying that 'Now they will paint it with colors of circus'

        Anyways good for the Owner!

Generally, such experiments are not successful, but personally I like the color scheme.

Any news about who will be present at the auction? Like Celebrities, etc.?

To me this particular Harley looks psychedelic. Wonder how much it will get auctioned for and to whom. Will it be Sanjay Dutt?? :P
