    My Comments: I wonder how they kept the weight down to 115 kgs? That's really a good news...!

    So, the ladies will have an option to use the electricity to pick up, and then the engine can take over...
    And we all know that the engine loses efficiency while picking up speed, than cruising. So, it seems to be a great system at first look.

    Guys, do check out the first ride by Bike India link... it has lot of info on this prototype.

      Finally an EV from a reputed strong player in the market.
      I would love to have one of those.

      But the only concern being, if the battery goes 'kaput' the entire battery unit needs to be replaced. and that costs a BOMB!

        Bro, actually a strong player's EV is already in the market from last years - TVS Scooty Teenz Electric.
        It is very reliable even now, with a 800W motor giving 40 kmph top end. But, it was ONLY electric...

          Yes TVS ROCKS....

          The only Indian Motorcycle Manufacturer who does more R&D and release products which are really of Technology Oriented for all Kinds of People....

                It's only TVS which dares to experiment with latest technology.

                It's a shame that the japanese players who have been minting money by selling el cheapo products(except Yamaha to some extent). At least they could bring in some radical stuff so as to benefit the common people or enthusiasts for that matter.
