    ..following the ice-packed helmet, another feather may / has have been added to our caps...bike Air Conditioner..

    These days, with everything being untethered, it's strange to see a biker getting tubed up to his chariot. Then again, you'd do it, too, if you're stuck in traffic under the sweltering tropical sun. The idea of piped-in airconditioning on a motorbike isn't new. We caught wind of a prototype back in 2004, when Israeli physics professor Glen Guttman unveiled his compact A/C solution which rides pillion and siphons off the motorcycle battery to hoses cold or heated air to a thermal vest worn under the motorcyclist's jacket. A wireless controller mounted on the bars controls the temperature.

            This could actually make you fall more ill than feel good if used for short hops and riding in the city. For touring and extended duration of time, im all up for it... a good idea none the less..

              A cool concept, but looks like that guy is plugged into a vacuum cleaner. Hope the system gets smaller in the future.

              Something like the Veskimo jacket is more practical, IMHO. Does the same thing, though you have to buy some ice every 3-4 hours.
