Superb stuff. All the pictures have come up so well and each and every bike is looking more exotic because of the excellent colour schemes.
@Kenda-A noob question. I saw you writing somewhere on the other thread about France has this rule of maximum output of 100bhp/ps from any bike. Then how come all the bike are showcased there?
I hope you remember your own signatureOriginally posted by k2cool_87 View Postgr8 pics...though this one is best of the lot ....u just dunno where to stare at the bike or the beauty on top of it...

You are not a noob and it is not a noob question. All bikes sold in France are mapped to give 106Bhp peak output. They have a differently mapped ECU to follow the EU Advisory of 2002! But as I said, France is the only country to follow the advisory and very French keep this map. Most of them get their ECUs remapped to have full power.Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View Post

Got it and I even had gone through all the France bike specific sites by now. Not only the power but even the torque figures are not spared which is quite understandable. Btw ECU's remapped means warranty goes for a toss or this ECU remapping is done after 1 year of purchase when the warranty period is over?Originally posted by ken cool View PostYou are not a noob and it is not a noob question. 1. The ECU remapping is not done by companies since it would be illegal to do so. But it is done by experts nonetheless. However the ECU remapping thing does not void warranty since they just put the original map available worldwide. Hence warranty stays.Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostBtw ECU's remapped means warranty goes for a toss or this ECU remapping is done after 1 year of purchase when the warranty period is over?
2. ECU remapping does however void insurance. As I said, in case of any accident/crash, 3rd party or alone, insurance company washes its hands off the expenses and bike owner pays everything including fine for tampering with mapping! The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

I checked this bike out online . Only 1 Mv agusta makes 200 PS . its the limited edition [100] F4CC , it costs 120,000 $Originally posted by ken cool View PostOf course it is road legal. It has been around for donkey's years. There is even one in Delhi! Met the owner sometime in 07.
.the Desmo at 72,000$ suddenly seems VFM
.
the pic posted by you lists the price as 18500 Euros . so its the 'normal' 186PS F4 not the 200 PS one .
