ah... great. HH starting the Digital Console thingy now.

Any idea what info is displayed in the Digi Cole?
      1) Fuel, 2) Time, 3) Trip Meter, 4) Odometer, 5) ...?

What is APDV? is it Air Pump Diverter Valve?
      Any idea guys?

Cant say exactly but the tail lamp looks like a smaller version of what we see on HH Splendour NXG. Just hope it is a design worth the succession of the beautiful Passion's tail lamp.

Where is the new silencer photo dude?

No updates on HH website yet.

something to counter the cb twister???

passion/glamour/whatever... HH cant stop rebadging things!!!

Im sure more than their R&D team, they have a bigger team working in the graphics department!!! lol!!

Actually, if it sells, and for the last so many years you are the biggest manufacturer, then it really doesnt matter also.

Guys we know what HH team is doing with there customers, but still we have to face the truth that being just a sticker or paint upgrade they are selling there bikes like anything & "Mango People" are purchasing too.. below i found detail of sales of HH

Month on month, year on year Hero Honda has showed their supremacy over all other Indian manufacturers. Continuing with the lead, Hero Honda sold a whooping 3,82,096 two wheelers in February 2010 which was an increment of 16 percent over last February. March 2010 saw Hero Honda breaking all shackles as they steer their sales tally over 4 lakh mark by recording 4,14,638 two wheelers which was an increase of 14 percent as compared to 3,53,342 units the company managed to sell in March 2009.

Recently Hero Honda launched sticker upgrades to their commuter bikes to retain their freshness and is in process of opening up its fourth manufacturing unit shortly which will act as an additives to propel further growth.

Seems many want power bump-up in at least 1-2 bhp from every upgrade. If this was the case, the CD100 would have now churned out 20 bhp, and the price anywhere in the range of 1 lakh (due to R&D costs to make such power from puny 100cc). The mileage would have been around 20-25 kmpl. Now, even those who are expecting a power upgrade will never buy it. They just say it is a super bike.

When will our members see the commuter keeping in view the commuter's needs. Commuter segment is driven by mileage, reliability, and VFM. The digital console looks cool and will definitely attract buyers. And moreover, CB Twister is not a competitor to Passion Pro. Passion is practical and CB Twister is not.

Not really buddy, technical upgrade doesnt really mean less mileage.. The HH 100 cc technology is very old.. Just look at the 110cc twister, it promises more fuel efficiency along with more power, thats technology for u and it doesnt cost a lakh too... Aam junta is not asking for a whole 1 or 2 bhp for an upgrade but atleast 0.2 or 0.3 bhp with better mileage than the previous model will make customer super happy..

This was imminent. The CB Twister could lure away a sizable chunk (if not all) potential "commuters looking for a dash of style in a 100-110 cc bike" (read as, Hero Honda Passion customers).

Therefore an upgrade of the Passion in terms of desirability was needed. Therefore the Digital Display and the restyled tail lamp and a new tech jargon acronym.

i went for a test ride of the twister the other day and was quite surprised at the number of ppl who were interested in the bike.A guy you came to test ride a stunner booked the twister instead, right in front of my eyes. That is what twister has done and HH better start preparing....this upgrade seems worth it if not totally good.Anyway, something that was not expected and quite a surprise...
