what i understand from the word paddle-shift it will be like the ones on cars, faster gear shifts with very very less loss of power between the shifts.

Think the official VFR website has even a video of a honda engineer explaining about the dual clutch technology.

does that mean that u wont have to use the clutch lever at all to upshift/downshift?

yes, there will be no clucth input from the rider. But IIRC none of the honda motorcycles in production has dual clutch as of date. VFR is suppose to get it next year, that was what i read on the internet

it works some thin like this wher dual-clutch configuration in which independent clutches are employed for the odd gears (1st, 3rd, 5th) and the even gears (2nd, 4th, 6th), respectively. The two clutches operate alternately to effect gear changes which give very smooth gear changes and hence we wont lose out any power changing from one gear to another this will be the future for all the vehicles i guess

Why are they hell bent to take the essence out of motorcycles?

Slipping/sliding/wheeling/fish-tailing has already been taken care off and now this,

hope Motorcycles don't go the Car way,
