  • Suzuki Motorcycle India sales jump 44 pc in June

New Delhi, June 30 (PTI) Two-wheeler maker Suzuki Motorcycle India today reported a 44.37 per cent jump in sales to 17,876 units in June, on the back of good response to its new products.

The company had sold 12,382 units in June 2009, Suzuki Motorcycle India said in a statement.

"As promised, we have delivered quality products as well as customer satisfaction to our consumers. We will continue to keep up this growth momentum in coming months as well," Suzuki Motorcycle India Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Atul Gupta said.

The subsidiary of the Japanese auto giant Suzuki Motor Corporation attributed robust growth last month on good response to its new motorcycle GS150R and its only scooter Access 125.

The two-wheeler maker had earlier this month launched its superbike GSX-R1000 at Rs 12.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) making it the costliest product from the company's stable in the country.

ah...nice to see that..being a suzuki fan im posting my wishlist, hoping the suzuki guys see this.

gsx-r 250(just put the b-king 250 engine in it and launch)
      b-king 250
      gsx-r 600
      and the sv 650

this would really make suzuki a good competitor.also they have to focus on making good ads like bajaj or tvs and stop those rubbish "OH SUZUKI SLIGSHOT" ads.damn it was so hard to convince my friend that its a good bike.he was just laughing at that ad.oh the main thing...some more service stations.

The Kawazaki and Hyousung are gonna bring in their 650's to India sooner rather than later....So can we expect the Suzuki to Launch its GSX-R600/GSR 750....or will suzuki bring in their bikes after all the major players launch their bikes here in india.....

If you see the reaction time..suzuki is very late in launching bikes (For Example GS150R was a late entry in to the 150 cc segment)

It is high time Suzuki gets its it act together and launch a kick ass bike in the 250/650 segment.....

They have done it in the past remember the legendary (Suzuki Shogun) ... i know Shogun is a 2 Stroke...What i am trying to say is .... they should bring a 250 with nice charm to be once step ahead of its competition.

Suzuki GW 250 aka B King Clone....Seriously if Suzuki plans to bring a 250 cc it should have design cues either from GSR 750 or more aggressive looking design features B King..

The GW 250 does not look solid and attractive...
