This color is for "exports only" market.

In India this color is for the armed forces so officially it won't be sold for the general public.

at least RE India website doesn't show it.

Maybe it was a custom painted. Also, the used army bullets are available for sale from scrap markets.

Classic 500 Battle Green and Classic 500 Chrome were unveiled at the Auto Expo if I'm not mistaken. RE officially issued a statement saying they were going to launch "a number of models" based on the new UCE and EFI platforms that they have made standard now. But Battle Green being outlawed by RTO (I'm pretty sure of this), I don't think RE can sell them in India, and hence the "export only" tag. True, that there are many Bullets in Army colors, but fact is, its against the law.

And like I had posted somewhere before, there's no point showing us these beauties and not ramping up production. Its just pure heartache to wait 10 months for your ride.

I think this news is old.
RE's international site has this bike for a long time now.

In India? If yes, that's great news but fear that military green color is banned for private use here.

Battle Green Color will not be officially available in India, at least not at the moment. Well we have Forest Green (Bullet 500 ) available in some parts of India. Phase wise launch. May be we can have a look into that. But Bullet 500 is Carb based.
There is always a solution, It just needs to be tapped.

This color is only reserved for Indian Army and for the export models. Now this is Subjective as this is a particular color code which should not be used by public but even a little variation from it is fine logically. What you must have seen is a custom painted bike or may be a showroom piece.
