    Dear Mr. Nagpal,
We refer to your letter addressed to the Chairman. On behalf of Tata Motors, we apologise to you should the attitude of some of our colleagues have hurt your sentiments.
We are drawing the attention of the Head of our Premier Car Division, Mr. Rohit Suri, to this.

    Kind regards,
    Debasis Ray
    Head - Corporate Communications
    Tata Motors

and now this is what I wrote back:

    Dear Mr. Ray,

I would like to appreciate you and your entire team for the courtesy shown in response to my earlier mail. Further, I would like to thank Mr. Suri for his patience and empathy thus shown. It was a pleasure to speak to a wonderful gentleman, though regret that it had to come in not-so-fateful way.

I hope that I would definitely be writing to you again to appreciate the team for putting their best foot forward in the future and always.

    Best regards,
    Rohit Nagpal

Though I dont have too much to say after the end of Auto Expo, but nonetheless, few things that were really amazing and hurting were brought to the notice of the concerned people.

I visited the Tata Pavilion and apart from the Wonderful Trucks and Range Rover scale models that I liked the most, I was genuinely put off by the behavior of people behind the perimeter.

Hence, I wrote to the Tata Management about the unprofessional behavior of the attendants and I received the email from Mr.
Debasis Ray Head - Corporate Communications Tata Motors and got to speak to Mr. Rohit Suri Head of Premier Car Division. The issue was brought to their notice and I would here like to compliment TATA MOTORS for employing such wonderful people who are worth their salt.

It was a pleasure speaking to Mr. Suri who heard the concern with utmost empathy and assured of a corrective action for the future endeavor.

    All Cheers

@svjhonda: I'm from Khardah and booked from Matali Enterprises at Barrackpore.

BTW, called up yamaha toll free helpline and the lady attended to my queries very well. She said blue is low on production currently and the other racing colors (yellow/red/black) are easily available on showrooms. While the limited edition white is being sent across at a premium of 1.5k... Blue will again be available from the end of Feb.

I do not plan to take from Kolkata showrooms due to certain reasons... so I'll wait.

The Mega G2G was really amazing. i met Aryan, Shiraz, Blisteringintelligence (BI) and after 2 hours, i have to go to Gurgaon where i stayed with my relatives, its some 20 to 25 KM i think from there,no taxi/bus were available at that time. the chill was like freezing. so RX came to my rescue. he said he'll drop me at gurgaon. but there is no extra lid for me, so he went home and returned back with in 45 minutes with a lid, and we both took leave from members and started on RX's P 220 to gurgaon and reached after 45 minutes.

i thank all our members, especially RX for his help & concern. and one more thing. THIS IS MY FIRST EVER G2G !! and its a MEGA G2G.
Hey Frank it was nice to meet you as well man! Good luck on your SS attempt.

Anyone from Mumbai interested in a virgin FZS?

BTW, the old red is still very much in production. I saw a huge line-up for red (old) R15s in their greater noida manufacturing plant. Not sure, if it's sold in India though.

BTW, R15 is 1,13,000 OTR in Mangalore
I thought they were going to give you the same old used FZs man! A brand new bikes makes more sense.... why dont you try telling the showroom guy itself to upgrade it for you for a small price...!

@awesomeo: I visited them on Friday and they still had no clue when the next truck would be coming to Howrah and further distributed to dealerships...

Regarding old red, many sources confirm that it was taken off... maybe they were returned to factory for rework or export to Bangladesh.

Yea, you are paying about 10k more for the same thing!

Said that yellow (taxi) lot will be coming by 25 and it did, while blue will be by 30-jan to 2-feb and red (I better say dark pink...girly) in feb 1st. week. Today, I inquired and he said the yellow and red lot has arrived... no clue on the blue!

My personal choice was the old red with blackish fairing, which went out of production in 2009... I wonder why yamaha took off the good color and replaced it with a girly deep pink (not red) that suits on nothing but scooties? I simply do not like the racing colors or the graphics... so blue with the old graphics was my next choice, hence booked it. Now even if they get blue with the new vinyl, I'd be happy... to ultimately lay my hands on it.

In WB, I gotta pay Rs. 1,03,500 on road... I guess it is far higher elsewhere.

Same here. I've booked Yamaha Blue R15, and I'm expecting delivery in the 1st week of Feb, but I've specifically told the dealership guy, that if it's the new edition of blue R15, then I won't take it.

I didn't like it. The old blue had much more aggressive styling.

OH my God, I'm finally posting here. I must thank all the Xbhpians who got the stall up & running, it looked Fantastic. It was nice meeting all the Xbhpians at the stall & then a Great evening at the Dhaba. Then on we had an extended evening with Ravi Bhai & Abhishek from Agra giving me company for dinner, there was another person as well, but I'm sorry I don't remember his name. Well nothing much to write about the Expo in such because most of it I COULD NOT see. Let me try & recollect the names of people I met, Ken da, Kunjal, Roger, RX100 7050, Ravi Bhai, Abhishek (we've met before), how can I forget OF sirji, MG, & of course the pleasure of having our own Mod from Bangalore & lot many more. Thank You All. A special THANKS to Kunjal & Rohit for helping me drop my wife back home & getting to the venue, not to forget Ravi Bhai as well, for dropping me back home. I hope I've not forgotten anybody else, if so, then kindly accept my sincere apologies.

    CHEERS,
