The Biker of the Year Awards had its Grand Finale Ceremony on the 9th of October in Central Delhi.
Until 2011, everybody was giving many awards to bikes. But xBhp believes that the Biker is more important than the Bike. And thus, in BOTY'11 we decided to bring together bikers from around the country and commemorate the Biker among us all. Needless to say, a bike is an inanimate object and only the biker gives it character, makes it something that we all love. This feeling was shared by all across the country and embraced with open arms.
But in 2011, there was only one Person who was the Biker of The Year. A very difficult task to compare and reward bikers from such different fields of biking. So this year, in BOTY'13 we had 10 categories, instead of just one. Because it has to get bigger, better and grander.
Castrol Power1 unveiled their new Coffee Table Book and their Castrol Power1 Pack at the BOTY Awards Ceremony.
The ten fields in which xBhp recognised talent from across the country were -
Track Racer of the Year
Angel Biker of the Year
Female Biker of the Year
Rally Rider of the Year
Free Style Biker of The Year
Wanderer of the Year
Power Biker of the Year
Bike Customiser of the Year
Fight Back Biker of the Year
Bike Club of the Year
The Special Guest of the evening was a well known biker in India - Gul Panag. Along with the respected jury comprising of Deepa Malik, G Subhash Chandra Bose, Kranti Sambhav, Mohammad Abdul Kaleem. The fifth member, Ashish Moudghil was unable to attend the awards ceremony as he had sporting commitments to keep.
The host for the night was RJ Sachin who livened up the night with light banter and continuous jokes. Reputed bikers gave out the BOTY awards to the winners and which was followed by dinner. In true xBhp style, it had class, elegance and yet it kept to the biker informality that we so love!

Along with these awardees, a Life Time Achievement Award was given to Bullet Bose and a Savior Biker Award was given to Tilak Soni for his work in Uttarakhand.
