The 2002 World Champion took the win after Sam Lowes on the Yakhnich Yamaha and teammate Sofuoglu both retired due to technical problems in their respective motorcycles. While Sofuoglu retired earlier on in the race, Lowes retired on the very last lap with a gearbox issue as he was battling it out with Fabien Foret.
Rookie Michael van der Mark took second place on his Pata Honda, followed by Luca Scassa also on a Kawasaki.
The race as always was a cracker, but it was marred by many technical problems for the leaders and also a smattering of crashes!
When Kenan had spoken to xBhp, he had mentioned that the title race would be between him and Lowes, but he said as always Foret will be the dark horse to pull out a few surprises!
