Kolkata was the city where the team would split for the weekend, as four people flew down to Guwahati, while the remaining held the fort in Kolkata.

The City of Joy was also where the motorcycles got a service and oil change, as the team was halfway around the country. Castrol Power 1 Racing Fully Synthetic 10W50 was filled into the hearts of the Benellis. To have a problem free ride back to the starting point of Pune.

But the real action was happening in Guwahati. As it was the very first time that the riding team were to visit the northeast on a pan India ride. The moment of exiting the airport was the immediate start of all the fun. Bikers of Guwahati had taken time out from their busy schedules to ride to the airport and wait for the team to welcome them as they literally stepped into the northeast! The revving motorcycles not just excited the team as they exited the airport but were also quite the spectacle for onlookers. These guys from xBhp Assam and Assam Bikers then rode along with the teams who were caged in their cabs as the bikers enjoyed the freedom that only two wheels can offer. The entire cavalcade rode down to the hotel a good 20 km away, led by 30+ bikers. Even the hotel staff were caught off guard as everybody trooped in, as they jaws dropped to the floor seeing the buzzing biking spirit.

After a photo session with all the bikers of xBhp Assam and Assam Bikers, it was time to head to bed, but not before a visit from an old friend from Delhi Shashank Deka. The next day was to bring even more festivities and amazing experiences for the ThankYouRide team, but that story is for another day.
