  • The GIR team is halfway through!!

Kanyakumari is where the country's landmass ends and so do the roads. The GIR team is on its homeward leg now. And its time for reflecting upon what it has been like for us all. I begin here with my thoughts and a few pictures taken through these 3 weeks or so.

    HALF WAY DOWN
I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...

It was a real pleasure the time I spent with you and the fellow members, Old Fox sir. In all honesty, I just wanted you guys to be halted in Ooty for just a day more, if that were the plan, but then you guys had precise plans. But in a single day, it was so fun, so entertaining and so proud for me to have joined the elite.

Thank you, sir. I hope more there are more endeavors to come. My prayers with you guys. Ride Safe!!

                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                THE END

Vijay: you made Ooty so memorable for us. As did Deepak riding all the way up from Coimbatore and back with us. We did wish we could have stayed another day but the entire ride is a big schedule and changes not possible. Catch you on another ride sometime then.

It was a memorable experience riding together with such gems of motorcyclists in India and your Seminar and intuitive speeches at the Fix and flick meet gave much useful info Old Fox sir. Then again we were honored by the GIR team's presence and are glad that we could render our support to such a ride of epic proportions. Personally I rejoice at the matter that we the Trivandrum xBhpians could ride along with you and the GIR team for at-least a 100 kilometers.
It's not over yet and am already looking forward for the next GIR (or penultimate as Sunnji mentioned ) season
Ride safe, ride long and all the very best towards the successful completion of GIR

Can u tell me the ETA at Rajahmundry? if u reach in the evening, i don't think u'll continue riding another 225 Km to Vizag in the night, so if u need arrangements for night stay, i have to book them today (11-04-2012) waiting for your esponse

I've had to fly to Delhi for 3-4 days and will rejoin the team in Bhubneshwar on the 14th. So am not there for now and will regrettably miss out on meeting you. But they all will start from Vijayawada in the morning itself and so can reach Vizag comfortably before nightfall. Should cross Rajahmundry sometime around noon or a little later I guess.
