If there is a "pukur" nearby (hardly there will be nowadays) and if it's flooded then expect fishes to swim across right in front of you and almost all of them are edible

4-5 hours of medium rain can turn the whole Kolkata into a pond !
Be rest assured, some of the characteristics of a pond will be there.
Hope to meet you people on Saturday.

Re: Live Updates: The Great India Collectors' Ride

So, the overall experience was fantastic. Reached there early. As bikers started coming from different places, interactions followed. Took a few snaps. Then the XBHP team arrived. Had photo-shoots. Curious locals admired the Busas, The R1s, The Bandits. Due to professional commitments, I had to leave early after wishing the team Best of Luck!
One unfortunate incident happened when all of us started towards the CCD. Subhankar crashed due to a stray dog and a member of the XBHP core team who was behind them crashed as well. But, apparently the injury was not too grave as they were in full riding gears. As I had to leave, no news about the same thereafter. Hoping they are fit by now and ready for another ride.
