The design looks wonderful. Congrats to everyone associated with it.Originally posted by frankpilli View PostAwesome, the bike is 80% of what i expected it to look like, after watching the episodes in History TV and the items collected by the riders.
Btw, there is one thing i want to ask, how come none of the xbhp-ians were invited to the event, when apparently it happened in Delhi, and Delhi xBhp-ians are always there when xBhp needs it members. Right? Or only those people were invited who owns superbikes? Altough it's bit rude comment, but that's what I felt and it's straight out of my heart.

Re: The Freedom Motorcycle Unveiled
Mandhir, good to have you speak from the heart bro! Do you think we would leave our family out? The Sunday event was a 'page 3' types for TV and was arranged and managed by OLX with a limited invitation set. It was simply not possible (and ethical) to call a few xBhpians and not to call others due to limited seats. Then it would have been a much more dire situation!Originally posted by sherry_unicornlover View PostThe design looks wonderful. Congrats to everyone associated with it.

Therefore, xBhp and OLX will be doing another meet this Sunday 21st September for the xBhpians and other interested motorcyclists in and around Delhi NCR. The only hassle so far is the venue which we are trying to figure out. The bike is BIG and BULKY and not easy to move around (FRAGILE too).
So keep the faith and ride on!

I had to speak from the heart as xBhp family is an important part of life, and it is the one which gave me few of my best friends and has been a part of my growth over the years.Originally posted by Sunny View PostMandhir, good to have you speak from the heart bro! Btw, Great to get the behind the scene info. Although just a suggestion, I know couple of people who felt same, and to avoid such situations in future, atleast one liners can be added to the thread so that people don't have to think themselves that they've been left out and they know the actual reason before they jump to conclusions themselves.

The Freedom Bike looks very promising to the name and fits to be called a work of art. Kudos to the xBhp core team for the effort and completion of task as always.

Re: The Freedom Motorcycle Unveiled
This is probably the first instance that so much effort and resources have been invested in producing an art installation that is purely about, around and for motorcycling. If nothing, this is a unique measure of the undeniably large quantum of passion and interest that motorcycling carries piggy-back with it now. And it also is a proud moment for xBhp to have been so deeply involved not only in this project but all through this evolution that motorcycling has witnessed. This sure is a call to raise a high five to the entire community.
There also a thought that I'd like to share with everyone at this juncture. It may be so that the 'core' team stands as the visible face of xBhp at such events, the ones who apparently get loads of attention but that 'visibility' is purely incidental, a satiation of the general curiosity about 'who' were the people who do all that stuff. But amongst the fraternity, both on-line and off it, none of us entertains any pretensions of greatness or of being exclusive and apart from you all. There is a 'core' team FOR xBhp and not OF xBhp. There's a difference there and that it is not a star cast but comprises of those from amongst you who represent the rest to the best that they can. We may be working at harnessing commerce for xBhp but rest assured, none of us has become a product of it. The ones who contribute to the community through knowledge sharing, as mods, as volunteers - they are as much the 'core' and not just the 7 odd functionaries who populate the office in Delhi.
Thanks. And yes, the TV episodes have turned out even better than we expected.Originally posted by krishna77 View PostAn amazing feet achieved with almost the entire India covered. I remember my interaction with xBHP team in Kolkata(Dankuni Toll Plaza). A big Thank You to the team!

Your feeling and its expression is respected and acknowledged. You have been around here a long time, longer than I have been here. And the sheer longevity of this relationship with xBhp empowers you as much to question as it does to stand beside in support.
Will be looking forward to your reactions when you get to see it physically. The photos do not really do justice to what it really is like.Originally posted by The Celebrity View PostThe Freedom Bike looks very promising to the name and fits to be called a work of art. Amazing effort this. What an amazing piece art work the bike is. When I first saw an epsiode of the show on History TV I didn't have a clue that xbhp was behind this. Congratulations to all at xbhp and olx.
I sure would like to know who were the two bikers on the 'Busa and the VStorm that rode across India.
Cheers!
