The Triumph Thruxton 900 was born of the concept of Cafe Racers for the 1960s, when racers used to modify their Bonnevilles with clip on bars, upswept exhausts and race these bikes from one Cafe' to the next. The bike was named after the racetrack where Triumph Motorcycles had great success as a company. The bike sports an air-cooled parallel twin, DOHC, 865cc engine. Producing 69bhp and 69Nm, the bike is extremely capable without being frighteningly fast!

The Triumph Scrambler is another motorcycle which the company has tried to visually copy from the 60s. The bikes come with raised exhausts, dual purpose tyres and a spirit to be ridden anywhere and everywhere!!!

The Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition, which gets its name from the location of the Tridays festival, a small town in Austria that hosts world’s biggest party of Triumph riders. The town’s actual name is Neukirchen, but it adopts the English translation of its name during the 3-day party. This Newchurch Bonneville features new contemporary paint schemes, a new low profile seat and with cool black detailing on the mudguards, headlight bowl, handlebar, mirrors, and shock absorbers along with black and red alloy wheels. The Newchurch won’t be a limited edition and the pricing will be revealed during the launch in early next year.

The Triumph Bonneville T214 gets its name from the 214 mph speed record set by Johnny Allen at the salt flats of Bonneville in 1956. This record itself led to the name of the Bonneville. The T214 is based on the Bonneville T100 Black and is available in a hand-painted blue/white color scheme, which also was the color scheme of the Johnny Allen’s bike. Most of the chrome parts of the stock Bonneville like rims, handlebars, and the rear shock absorbers have been given a black treatment. The other distinctive feature of T214 are the red seat and smaller headlight. And as this is limited edition bike, there will be only 1000 of these machines that will be produced by Triumph. The pricing will be declared when the T214 actually goes on sale later this year.

The Triumph Daytona 675 is one of the best motorcycles currently available in the supersport segment. The 3-cylinder bike produces 128bhp which propels the bike forward to mouth watering speeds. With the lightweight chassis, the bike is a pleasure to ride around the twisties as cornering was never such a breeze. The bike comes with a new engine with twin injectors per cylinder, titanium valves, a redline at 14400 rpm and an attitude to boot. A lovely bike which looks its part!

The Triumph Tiger Sport 1050 is a do-it-all motorcycle from the British company. It is good for commuting in traffic, two up touring, a leisurely weekend ride and everything else you can imagine which is not extreme. Something of a European Suzuki Bandit!!! The bike might not be a looker but is an extremely practical motorcycle which will get you around in no nonsense spirit. This Liquid Cooled, 12 valve, DOHC 1050cc engine produces a healthy 125bhp and 104Nm of torque at just 4300rpm. A truly 'practical' bike. But at 235kg wet, this bike would probably be a handful to handle with a pillion and luggage.

The Triumph Trophy SE is the ultimate touring motorcycle if comfort is your primary criteria. The bike is built to chomp up the miles without nary a thought. Even though bulky in looks the bike is supposedly easy to handle even the twistiest twisties! The SE version of the Trophy took the game up a notch higher by giving even more features to a feature laden motorcycle. The SE boasts an electronic suspension and a high quality sound system with Bluetooth and i-pod connectivity. Listening to your favourite jingle while enjoying the vistas of nature was never this comfortable. In the tech wizardry department the bike also has the Tyre Pressue Monitoring System (TPMS), giving you peace of mind. Also thrown in for good measure is a 12v power socket and a USB port! But all the electronic marvels aside the bike is powered by a 1215cc engine belting out 134 bhp to haul that 301kg of wet weight across the tarmac.

The Triumph Bonneville Spirit special edition is based on the T100. The Spirit gets the black colour treatment on the previously chrome rims, mudguards, mirrors, and handlebar. The headlight is taken from the Scrambler and the shorter rear mudguard from the Thruxton. The Spirit also gets the new Triumph logo on the tank instead of the chrome badge. And like the Newchurch, it will also go on sale in early 2015.

The Triumph Tiger 800 ABS is a minimalist bike designed for hitting the long hard road. The only paint on the bike is on the tank and the front fender. So even if you drop it, you just won't notice! The bike comes with a high output alternator so that you can safely plug in extra lights, use heated clothing or any other essentials to tackle the terrain. The bike also has dual headlight which can be easily adjusted on the road, so that you are always riding safe. The 800cc engine produces a decent 79Nm of torque in an extremely linear manner, making it possible to control the bike with just the throttle on bad roads, without having to overuse the clutch.

The Triumph Tiger Explorer is the big brother of the Tiger 800. If the 800cc engine is too small for your desire for power then the Explorer might be the continent crosser for you. The bike comes with ABS, Traction Control and cruise control along with a 1215cc engine building 137bhp @ 9300rpm and 121Nm @ 6400 rpm.

Some more information about the Triumph Street Triple RX -

    Street Triple Rx

Street life doesn’t get more stimulating than this. The Street Triple Rx combines aggressive style and devilish good looks to create an extreme, eye-catching machine, borrowing inspiration from its TT and Daytona 200 winning supersports sibling, the Daytona 675R.

The highest-spec variant Triumph’s Street Triple R, its unique visual features include a new razor-sharp rear profile, a new Matt Aluminium Silver paint scheme and revised graphics.
The angular seat unit is transplanted from the Daytona, further emphasizing the Street Triple’s already aggressive stance. The crisp lines are accented by the new Matt Aluminum Silver paint and deep Diablo Red details, complimented by the striking hand painted finish on the front and rear lightweight race inspired wheels. Triumph’s seat cowl, belly pan and fly screen complete the aesthetics to round off the purposeful intent of the Rx.

At the heart of the Street Triple RX is Triumph’s signature triple engine. The 675cc, 12-valve unit is derived from the legendary Triumph Daytona 675 sportsbike, but is carefully retuned to deliver a punchy 106PS and magnificently linear 68Nm of torque for effortless drive and acceleration. Combined with a slick, close-ratio six-speed gearbox, Triumph’s quickshifter and flawless throttle control, the powerplant delivers an exhilarating ride. All accompanied by a soulful, characteristic growling exhaust note, one of the most distinctive and charismatic sounds in motorcycling.

The Street Triple Rx’s ability to satisfy anyone from novice rider to the most experienced thrill-seeker doesn’t just come from its engine. The expertly crafted riding position spreads rider effort perfectly between its tapered flat bars, sculpted seat and slightly rear-set alloy footpegs, delivering maximum comfort and control. The refined chassis and dynamic balance features a distinctive eight-piece, aluminium twin spar frame and two-piece die cast rear subframe, mated to 41mm KYB inverted front forks fully adjustable for preload, rebound and compression damping, giving complete freedom to set the front end up to suit riding styles and conditions, and that can be easily configured to suit track or road riding.

Braking from twin 310mm floating discs is assisted by a sophisticated, standard-fitment anti-lock brake system, with the option to be switched off if required. A low-slung stainless steel exhaust minimises the effect of the already minimal weight. And, together with a painstakingly calibrated chassis geometry, the Street Triple Rx exudes a flowing, natural confidence in its handling, providing both stability and agility whatever the road speed or riding conditions.

Although one of the Street Triple Rx’s strengths is its elegant simplicity and practicality, it comes with a high level of equipment as standard. This includes an engine immobilizer, while further security can be found via a Triumph D lock accessory that stows under the seat.

Comprehensive LCD digital instrumentation includes a built-in lap timer, programmable gear shift lights, fuel gauge, clock and gear position indicator, as well as a large, clear tachometer and digital speedo. The clocks can also display front and rear tyre pressures when the optional Triumph Tyre Pressure Monitoring System is fitted.

The Street Triple Rx fuses the style and attitude of a naked streetbike with the handling and performance of a sportsbike, with beautiful styling to complete the package. An extensive range of Triumph genuine accessories allow owners to further personalise their bike.

The Street Triple Rx comes with an unlimited mileage, two year factory warranty. Service intervals are every 6000 miles, or one year, whichever is soonest.

The Street Triple Rx – a true powerhouse street performer.

Probably because India is a market where 'looks' are extremely important and the Tiger Sport is nothing to write home about, at least in the looks department.

Probably because the Daytona is good enough to take on the litre class machines. Many people find the Daytona more fun and easy to ride than the litre class machines.

Isn't that the case with all supersports? They're lighter and almost as quick on tracks due to better ergonomics, enough power, lower weight, size and flickability. They do lose out on straights but make-up in corners.
That said, Triumph's reliability in India is yet to be proven. A certain friend has a Daytona (xbhp member) and his experience so far in terms of reliability is not good.

Well, yes (battery dying, bike stalling on the highway and few other issues). But the member hasn't updated the happy/not so happy moments with his bike on this forum and it would be good if he does so.
It might very well be a one of case, but it does dampen the spirits a bit.

The first few pictures shows how a cafe racer should be like. More so, as nowadays almost everyone makes a cafe racer.

Wew, some nice looking bikes there!! Triumph has always been awesome in all segment.

Look at the Tiger Explorer, it's bulky but at the same time, it looks agile!!
