The BMW K1300 S is an engineering marvel like most of BMW's motorcycles, while at the same time ensuring safety is always paramount. At 175 bhp power and 140 Nm torque this bike is no slouch, irrespective of 'bulky' it might look. BMW promises supersport like handling confidence with the ability to cover thousands of kilometres in absolute comfort. Just to ensure that you are comfortable, the chassis can be adjusted whilst on the move! The 1293cc water cooled I4 engine produces its peak power at 9250 rpm and peak torque at 8250 rpm. Higher than what you would expect from a touring inclined motorcycle. This bike can effortlessly cruise at 200kmph plus with twin 320mm discs up front to bring the 228 kg bike to a halt.

The BMW F700 GS is the direct successor to the extremely successful 650GS. A shorter gearing ratio along with 75 bhp of power makes it an easy to use motorcycle in every condition. The new version also comes with ABS as standard. The already lower seat height can be further reduced to ensure that the rider is always comfortable. The 4stroke inline 2 cylinder 798cc engine produces a healthy 77Nm of torque at 5300 rpm, good to lug the rider and the luggage in most situations. The 16 litre fuel tank along with 186kg dry weight, makes this motorcycle ideal for getting around the countryside!

The BMW F800GS is called the sportiest member of the big GS family by the company itself. The new fuel tank trim, intake snorkel, upper mudguard and a new windshield give the bike that extra dash of dynamic performance, reflecting the off-road side of the F 800 GS and the seat can be lowered as well, but that comes as an optional extra. ABS is standard while Automatic Stability Control is optional and can be switched off on the go. Peak power is 85 bhp @ 7500 rpm while peak torque is 83Nm @ 5750 rpm for this 798cc powerplant.

The BMW S1000R is the naked version of the amazing S1000RR. The bike has its quirky styling which has won bouquets and brickbats alike. But one cannot deny the fantastic power to weight ratio of the monster of a motorcycle at 2.86 pound per bhp. The engine has been smoothened out to produce an extremely linear torque delivery. With 112 Nm of peak torque and 160 bhp of power this bike is fast enough to scare you. Fortunately the bike is fitted with ABS and ASC as standard to keep the rider safe.

Now those old bikes are pretty.
But the new ones are no less. Real nice line-up of super bikes and that police bike makes me want to migrate to Germany and join their police force.
Cool stuff man I wish I could see them in person. Two thumbs up
