Yeah, the waving to other bikers is the norm there.

Some of the maps and some of the GPS devices in Europe are absolute crap. But at the same time, I have seen people use some voice assisted stuff with detailled maps which were simply fabulous.
Looks like you guys stopped every 100 mts to take pictures.
I have never been to Switzerland. Somehow the trouble of getting another visa kept from going there I guess. However I have seen the Mt Blanc from the French side! It is in France in Haute Savoie!
There are no maps in your travelogues. Hence we have absolutely no idea which part of Italy you are in barring the fact that you guys are in the Italo-Swiss Alps! The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Thanks for your constructive suggestion. You are right about the route.. The problem is that a lot of days we do not have internet and we are riding almost all day so there is very little time to update everything in time, in a proper way. We try to first do the most important things and while the entire route is plotted, it is still to be put in the correct format before updating it in the site.
Cheers.Life is like riding a bike. It is impossible to maintain your balance while standing still.
