                    • Extremely fantastic stunt! Unfortunately, I missed it!

                      Hello All,

I consider myself to be the most unfortunate person on this earth for not being available at this mind blowing stunt event though I knew of it in advance and this was being performed in my own city Mumbai. At 17:30 when the stunts must have started, I back home just got up from my sleep and realized I am down with fever. I couldn't get up and coming down all the way to Malad, Inoribt on my Bajaj Discover bike was difficult though it was merely at a distance of 20 mins.

However, I took medicine and rest for about few mins but finally I decided to turn up for the most important event of my life as I mentioned earlier that I have never seen a live stunt performance ever and watching Chris's stunts is just going to be a dream come true so, I quickly dressed up in an unwell condition and rushed to Inorbit Mall which I arrived at 18:30 with a hope that the event would be live till 19:00 and I will get a bit of his stunt to witness and admire and enjoy with the crowd. The moment I parked my Bajaj discover bike and approach the back gate of Inorbit Mall, one person standing at the gate told me that the event has finished half an hour back at 18:00. All my efforts of reaching Inorbit went in vain and so did my happiness. I asked him if there's any possibility that at least I can see his bike since I have never seen such amazing bike before to which he said that quick go inside and checkout as Chris's bike would still be park over their.

But as destiny wasn't on my side right from that very morning, when I went inside to inquire about Chris's bike, the security guard said: "Abhi just 10 min huva, woh bike gaadi me dalke le gaya"...it's just 10mins back Chris took both his bikes along in a car....so, neither could I see the live event nor at least a glimpse of his bike...much bad luck...I now wonder when will Chris ever come back in Mumbai to perform again so that I can make sure I could see the complete event and try to meet him as well if the huge crowd permits.

Now coming to those photographs shot by somebody by name Sundeep Gajjar for Red Bull Photofiles, I must admire the fact at his excellent Visionary and the angles in which he has shot Chris's stunts! He has taken all possible shots at perfect timings even though the fact it was heavy sunlight and heat being thrown on face of everybody witnessing the stunt including the performer Chris himself. And trust me, job at hand becomes much difficult when any work needs to be done under "Scorching heat".

Anyway'z, coming to those images, these images are such "Focused, Clean, Sharp (Crisp) & Clear" such that anybody would love to watch it! I would like to ask Sundeep which camera he used to capture these images? And when I save these images to my desktop of my newly downloaded Ubuntu 10.4 LTS Operating System (OS) ( which at the moment is being run from my USB Pen drive), I see the majority of these images size being under 500kb (while there being no loss of quality) which make it an extremely valuable point for people to either store these images on their hard drive or distribute it to their friends via email, Pen drive, disc, etc...

And out of all the images shot by Sundeep, I would like to pick up these 2 images re-uploaded below which are IMG_9221.jpg & dsc08896edt.jpg

Looking at the first img >>> IMG_9221.jpg, I wonder how on earth could somebody lift such HEAVIER bike in complete 90 degree angle with front tyre facing towards the sky...I mean just observe his position closely as if he there's a feeling coming from inside that he is about to fall on his back; such upliftment of the bike he has done....Great Guts I must say!!!! And after all, it is the most talented bike stunt performer Chris who knows the secrets to this as well!

Coming to img >>> dsc08896edt.jpg, I am much shocked to notice Chris leaving both of his hands and standing at the back of his marvelous bike and the most key surprising factor in this case is >>> 1) The angle of the bike which is in upward direction which actually becomes kind of impossible (But not for talented Chris), b'coz if the weight of the bike is to be considered, I believe there's "JUST NO WAY" one could lift up the bike in such a manner (without placing their hands on both the side of the bike's handle), quiet strange to believe ...it looks to me as if Chris was also performing some "Magical Show" at the event which went unnoticed by many...Hehehee

                      2) Since I wasn't present at the event, I am really not sure while exactly at the time of being in this position, the bike was moving ahead or was it only lifted at the same place b'coz it again is a surprise if the bike was moving ahead then how?

The only thing I hate at such events seriously is the way entire crowd watch the event and the manner in which such huge crowd is absolutely unorganized to view the event, I mean they could place a carpet on the ground and make everyone sit and watch the event of Chris performing his mind blowing stunts live as the crowd would be watching this event right from from the ground level, and it further strongly ensures that every single person in the crowd gets a fair chance to enjoy their moments of watching such amazing stunts. Else, it is pointless to be present at the event in person and not being able to see anything b'coz of ample of people being ahead of you and bigger in height.

This systematic way of working is nothing but discipline and neatness which we still lack at any live events performed across the country and wonder when will the country learn on this & implement it as a practice? Proper arrangements needs to be made. I hope this doesn't repeat in Hyderabad.

Anyway'z, let's wait for the next event of Chris which is going to happen tomorrow in Hyderabad.

Anyway'z, its late at about 1:27am in the night and need to rush to sleep.....So, this is Apoorva saying Goodbye and Wishing best of the Health to everybodyand Signing Off!!!!

Chris, Thanks for your visit to India and showing us such mind blowing stunts, unfortunately, I wasn't present to witness the same....Anyway'z, maybe if you consider coming back in Mumbai (Before heading for Germany) and perform your stunts again for the left out people to watch it again, it will be "Highly Appreciable !!!"
