The crank shaft have play sidewise and was given to lathe for correcting. Total lathe work cost including crank work, head/valve work was 1700.
And 300 charged towards swing arm welding and painting the welded part.

Actually I am from Kerala and working in Chennai and don't know any mechanic personally here.

The bike is still running smooth. Though, I am noticing more vibes on deceleration now. The front forks do not work well on very good road, I can feel the unevenness of the road. But on potholes it is working fine. Not sure why.

There will be some lateral play in connecting rod, however excess play can be found out from experience only. When the con rod is at TDC, the con rod must be rocked back and forth to check for play, there shouldn't be any vertical play.
Regarding fork,
Can you explain the issue more clearly ? Do you feel lack of stiffness or any other handling issue ? Is it happening only after the fork overhaul ?
