Hi guys , 5 days back i bought new hunk double disk brake model from the 2nd day i am facing some problems, i want some good suggestion:
1)When i am pulling clutch for changing gear its rpm is automatically got increased.I had tuned bike's idling screw but after riding 40-50 km same problem is occurring again.
2)Gear shift-from top gear to bottom gear sometime it will not shift properly and quickly.
3)Front Disk -Front wheel is not revolving properly, actually pads are touching the disk plate when i told this problem to mechanic of hero service center he told me to wait till 1 st service. Same problem with rear disk also here some part is in contact.
What is the idling RPM ?
As the engine gets free, idling rpm will increase approximately for every 50kms till the odo shows 400-500kms. This is Perfectly normal, just decrease the idling rpm to about 1300RPM.
Few don'ts-
Don't let the mechanic touch the carburetor during the service.
Don't cross 5,000 RPM in any gear until first service.
Don't bother about the mileage, if you do the run-in carefully then you can expect a mileage of 50+ in city after 5000kms.
Don't over tighten the chain.
Gears will become smooth after 1500kms.
Slight rubbing is common in disc brakes, it won't be as free as drum brakes.
