Has anybody calculated the maintenance part on the bike.. Im not sure if it matters much or not.. But I have heard from one of my close friends who brought duke 200 week ago.. He said that maintenance is very high on 390 comparatively (i.e Tyres, Coolant Oil, Service Charges etc.) are expensive than Duke 200. Any inputs on this from any 390 experienced people here?

I dont know who told you that, of all the bikes i owned sparing Splendor and P220, Duke is one of the cheapest to maintain!

Coolll...That dude's 6'2 inch tall and is looking pretty ok on it. thx for the article. Now all we need is patience.... Someone said here deliveries will start by 20-25th of this month. Is it true??

Of all the interesting things that this bike has to offer, I just can't help wondering why hand guards are standard fit. Is there any logic behind it?

20-25th is what the showroom guy mentioned off-hand. I don't think there's any logic behind it. So I wouldn't go by that.

Handrails can be removed fairly easily, I checked yesterday.

Edit: That motorbeam review looks to be on the test bike at KTM Vashi and ridden on Palm Beach Road. Should try and get onto Palm Beach with it on Sunday!
BTW, where's the xBHP review, looking forward to a more detailed ride report.

No dates so far. I am sure there is going to be delay due to the strike. More concerned nowadays with selling off my CBR. Someone, please buy it at an honest price

Yes as mentioned by me on FB the detailed review and a ride report will be up on Saturday. Currently a lot of discussion in going on between the Duke 200 and 390, hopefully my review will answer all the queries

That's sad. Look at the brighter side - CBR till the Duke comes home! Honest pricing is an outdated concept nowadays...

got a call from society motors kanpur today stating to expect a delivery not before aug, he earlier stated to be sometime in july , didnt asked him reason, may be due to strike at chakan plant.
ps: i am njoying by reading this thread daily

KTM East Mumbai is not getting the bike this week.
Called them 5 mins ago as I escaped early from office and was at Gandhinagar, so thought I'll check it out as it most probably will be on display by now

They said it will arrive only next week by Wed as the strike at Chakan has delayed dispatch. These Bajaj workers sure have timing! X(
