Pulsar 180 UG 4 steering woblling proble
Hi..I own a pulsar 180 UG 4! I bought it in aug 10....from the begining I am having problem with my steering...while driving between speed 55kmph to 65kmph steering wobbles...It has tubeless tires...i have refitted the front tire two times as suggested by mechanic at service centre...but still it is having the same issue..anybody hav any idea abt such problem...should i go for wheel balancing...is it preferable? wheel balancing in alloy wheels? plz help me out...Last edited by vrnmhjn; 03-14-2011, 12:42 PM. -
i had the same bike but i didn't felt the wobbling problm. better check the front cone set as one guy had the same problem and during the service they changed some bearings.Don't research too much while purchasing, else you will commit blunder

I am having the problem right from the beginning...initially the guys at the workshop said this kind of wobbling is very usual in pulsars with clip on handle bars...how much it costs cheking cone set and changing bearings..i jst need a general idea..do anybody know about wheel balancing in alloy wheels..i hav seen sum bikes with that additional small weight on alloy wheel...

if the bike is under warranty then no need of any money or else it may charge a bit. Don't know the exact amount but strange that I didn't feel anything. Anyways visit the SVC and tell the problem. See what they suggest youDon't research too much while purchasing, else you will commit blunder

you can take pulsar for long tours no prob at all , in fact i took my p150 ug3 for 1500kms + tours . All you need to do is maintain a comfortable cruising speed such that you don't stress engine much. Maintain speeds of 80-90 and keep an eye on engine oil level, pulsars are known to drink oil at constant high speeds[ as per my experience]. Regarding your prob as suggested email to customer care or higher authorities .on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

one more thing...2 days before i washed my bike from SVC...no servicing i took my bike their just for washing..the guy washed my bike infront of me as usual...but since i returned home i m feeling that my bike's engine sound is changed little...it more like a little humming sound...and today when i was leaving office i put key in ignition and turned it on nothing happnd i was shocked for a moment..i again tured off and on this time there was a display in speedo the rpm meter worked usually but no backlight..wen i repeated third time it was normal..it was a very strange experience....should we take any extra care while washing bike?

non-stop riding mostly depends on your riding style buddy, on common note better to take 5 mins break every 60-90 mins .on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

750rs for cone set is too muchOriginally posted by vrnmhjn View PostHi guys! . It costs some 315rs.
I paid 450 rs for cone set replacement and fork bent removal, including labor charge.
Your bike is new so they must do it free of cost except the spare parts cost.
Yeah digital meter often behaves like that. We are gifted with that
