It was just to test whether we could withstand long rides....I (on a duke 200) and my friend (on a 200 NS) took off at 5 in the morning from Mumbai.The initial stretch till Vapi is really great.Though the roads don't offer any excitement the slow ascent of the sun and the balmy weather really went well with the broad, smooth patch of tarmac that the NH-8 offers.With few stops,including one for breakfast near Surat, we reached Vadodara around 12 noon, clocking under 6.5 hrs of ride time....
All and all a very pleasant ride....
