We are a FAR cry from that at this moment. Whatever our stunters do, they do it purely on personal efforts, with almost no or little help from others, and in hiding coz one might end up in jail! Coz our culture does not provide the space, metaphorical and real, to develop such forms.

As a nation we've gone from roadside dhabas to accepting McDonald's as an eating joint. I wonder if its too much to hope for similiar changes in the biking scenario.

By changes, I mean manufacturers catering to the niche segment by coming up with CBU middleweights, Indigenous sport-tourers with enough displacement to bear panniers, luggage et all.
Every day at another goddamn signal, enduring the rickshaw wallah's honking, a silent prayer escapes my lips that such a day will come. Hope the uparwallah is listening and so is Rajiv Bajaj

There are two things I will say here:

      1. I am not sure if the McDonald's is a proper analogy. I would prefer to go to a Roadside dhaba ANYDAY than go to Imperialist eating joints selling nonsensical burgers in the name of food. A good Italian joint, a Sushi joint, or heck, even French [My favourite] would do... (could not help that on but there isn't a single joint)
      2. Secondly, I am not sure if this is the right section that you should have put this post. Maybe in the Hard Torque section in the "What Next" thread!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Kinda drifted from my original point i guess
My main intention was to point out the fact that our nation seems to pick up international trends quite quickly. That is when i tried to fit in the McDonald's analogy
Whether such behaviour is due to commercialisation, status issues etc is beyond my reasoning. Hence, i beleive that stunting as an activity will definitely go past the stage where people are against it due to any cultural bottlenecks.
As to when such a thing will happen, is pure guesswork

Absolutely. I got your point. Was just reiterating it harder.

Yes, let us hope sooner than we can imagine despite bottlenecks.

Oh yes, error free and taking on local spectators and do a rolling stoppie between a lady's legs... does need guts and nerves of steel. Hats off to the spectator too!!! Also goes to show the kind of confidence they inspire even among the spectators.

AMAZING man! it looks like ken has had his trigger finger excessively worn out after photo-logging this event, Mindblowing pictures and a very extensive report
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

Yo man! Actually I got tired processing these photographs. There are exactly one hundred of them. Uploading them... putting them on the site... true it was quite big and tiring. But unfortunately I was not present at the event.
