There weren't any frame sliders on the bike so the plastics were just gone. The right handle bar, GONE. Mirrors cracked, ALL of the right side is just scratched to hell, makes me feel good about putting frame sliders. His insurance wont be happy, but hes suing the lady who hit him, so all might be fine at the end, sort of. Have a look.

And finally this me looking bond as always in full desi slippers. LOL jk. Please don't flame me about not wearing anything, i just walked the bike outside of my garage to add my frame sliders.

    Yes, I am fully Indian.

nice clean R6, get on PNW Riders - Pacific Northwest Motorcycle Riders (pacific northwest riders), lots of rides posted, info, track info, etc.

It can be lowered. I know of people not taller than 5 feet riding R6 s.
But remember to get the suspension professionally set up for your height if you do end up lowering it.
thanks guys.. i will look into that..

Sweet machine! Congratulations. Had a chance to ride an '03 R6 and an '07 race prepped R6 at the track. Like you mentioned, it is as precise as a knife. Good fun/serious addiction!

                    Update

Just wanted to give u guys an update on how it is on the other side of the world
so the winters are almost over and i spent so much time working on my baby this winter. I got a new HID/Halo kit, GYTR slip on and an integrated taillight. The sound is deeper and way louder. I drove it on the highway next to my house and my brothers could hear it with the windows shut :P

                    So far :

So far ive put about 1500 miles on it the last summer. The main thing ive learnt is. The bike is leagueS better than i am and iam not saying iam a shitty driver but it just is. I ve gained so much respect for the bike during the time ive driven it. There was never a dull moment when the throttle was on. I almost always had my mouth opening and shouting when i wacked the throttle open. The bike deserves respect. I had 2 very close calls on it. One while turning, i rolled on the throttle too much while leaning a lot and the rear spun a bit but it came back. I shat my pants so hard that time. But that instance made such a HUGE impression on me. I havent driven it very far but i do realize that after 30-40 mins on constant driving ur back does start to hurt a bit and ur arms get a lil pumped.

one think i realize now is that well even tough i love this bike, its probally not the best decision ive made. I realize now, that maybe a street fighter would have been more fun, especially since it rains a lot here. I remember my P180 with the round headlight, oh how i use to flip it from side to side without fail, but with this however it hard work, but u can be so precise with it, its unbelieveable. I do feel that if i had, say a Bking i would drive it more frequently and would certianly be fun. Now i think, if i was in India, i would defanately want something but a supersports bike. For people who are thinking of buying that R1 or a new Busa, u might not feel this now, or the 1st month of using the bike, but at some point u will realize how much more rider friendly a bking or a fazer is. This bike is more like a precise tool for engeenering majors, while something like a bking is a fun frat party for art majors.

I installed all the stuff on it myself and honestly it was so much fun. I love everything about this bike, and knowing that i worked on it and it came out good makes me even more proud of it. Personally i think the HID kid with the halos is the best mod i could do. The visibility is MASSIVELY improved plus those rings look nasty dont they ? :P plus this fit any bike, only the plates that hold the lights are custom to the r6 . so if any one back home wants to get em heres the link

                      Sweet mods.
                      Halos look amazing.

2nd your thoughts on the R6 not being a comfortable street bike. Def a track weapon.
As long as i am hitting the twisties i dont realize how uncomfortable it can get after about 2 hrs.
                      15K miles and counting.

Well...congrats.....an R6 for just 2.5 and that too in a very neat condition. The stuff added looks awesome just like new one.....i'm guessing at what price i would get such beauty in India.......

Sweet man, I know slowly and slowly you start respecting your bike and then loving it. About being uncomfortable I think R6 also has some posture issues, if you get it right, you are in for tours, but if you not you can land in a big uncomfy ride. As Carlito says he has done a lot of touring on it. I may be wrong as I dont own this bike, but yes this is my dream machine

Keep this for your track-days, and get a Husky for street-riding

The only danger with that is that you might end up taking the Husky to the track too, LMAO.
