    fibreglass / race fairings

    hey guys

    this is for all the guys who race down that the chennai track or have race glass on their bike

    where do you get these from in india? fairings here in melbourne are about 1000 dollars which is a bit too much for just fibre glass stuff. is there a place around bombay?

    i was looking at buying them in india or somewhere else cheap and getting it into melbourne in my uncle's shipment.

      You get race fairings in Chennai, made out of fibreglass. Costs lesser than what you said.. about 25k if I remember one quote. You even get whatever livery you want on it

        OT: I know of a member in xBHP who has a fiberglass factory as well

          25k is still fairly expensive.

          the cheapest ive seen in aus are 400 aud . but they dont have any paint on them .

          wonder how much they will be in india without paint.

          you can get a second set of plastic fairings from somewhere like hong kong for about 700 US fully painted

              Hi guys,

              Dunno how good the ones in India are..haven't seen any.
              But there are some top notch ones on the web.

              Becker Carbon, Sharkskinz, Armour Bodies, Attack performance, Catalyst racing are a few I can think of.
              I've listed them above as per price in descending order(lh to rh).

              And now copanies like Akrapovich and Yoshimura are also venturing into the Body work market.

              Google them to get their website info.
              You can get some from Malaysia as well, but there is no comparison.

              I have tried and tested a set of Attack performance on mine....absolutely love them....!
              The only down side to these brands is the price tag.

                Guys I just got a quote from a Bangalore based seller for 8k INR for my R1. Seems cheap, but not sure of the quality. Will look at it in the coming days and update. If it's good enough, then nothing like it!
