  • Help me choose a bike !!!!!

    Hi Guys,
I am planning to go in for a new bike. I had a 2008 R1 & did almost 11000KM on it. I am confused between 2011 fireblade, gixer & hayabusa. Can someone lend me some useful advice. I am a casual rider & intend using the bike for weekend drives and occasional outstation trips...

Close your eyes, the bike that comes in your mind is the bike you should go for !
May the torque be with you..

well the hayabusa has been such a consistant performer. But somehow i feel its really big and bulky. I vote for the gixxer

Why have you not considered any of the naked fared bikes?

              Do you not like them?

Also, if I were in your shoes, I would certainly keep the Suzuki Bandit 1250 S in the list..that's a very very potent bike...

I say go for Fireblade but you didnt specify any details like your choices, specs, budget, etc etc!

If you specify all these parameters then people will be able to help you better!

If budget is of no concern then I will suggest Ducati 1198.!! Go for it.

Of the three bikes mentioned, the gixer and fireblade are hands down best on the twisties. For occasional outstation trips, the fireblade is **probably** the most comfortable. The hayabusa is pretty much for drag racing.

                      Ride safe, later.

If you are only going to do casual riding, i suggest you go in for either a Ducati Monster 1100Evo or a Ducati Hypermotard 1100Evo. Also look into the Yamaha FZ1 and the Suzuki Bandit 1250S. These bike offer good tracktable torque and ample power for weekend rides and high speed thrashing. Except the HYM the monster, bandit, fz1 are good enough for 240km/hr. However i suggest you go for the HYM since its a truly unique bike and bikers all around the world are opting for its enjoyable performance. Its not the most practical bike around but bike testers around the world are praising it as a over all package. the HYM is good enough for 220km/hr.
