Fantastic customization, I must say.Originally posted by keertan23 View Posthey - nice looking bike, must be sounding awesome too with the shortshots.
Are the cops in hyderabad forgiving about the side-mounted registration plate ?
i have an iron 883 and have been looking at the silencer style handlebar grips & shifter peg on the website. How much did it cost you ?

Thanx dude..
The Warranty is not valid if you install any after-market parts to the engine (ex - Exhaust) apart from the screaming eagle stuff.but heck there have been a lot of bikes out there with vance and hines and they v been in this business for a long time.
if you take correct steps while installation and also make sure that the ecm is remapped or piggy backed you should'nt have a problem.I got the exhaust installed within the first month with the vance and hines fuel pack and screaming eagle stage 1 air cleaner, its almost like 7 months and have nothing to complain about.Freak

Hi,
I am from mysore and i'll soon be getting delivery of my iron 883 which i am upgrading to a 1200 with the SE kit. I was wondering if you are not using your old handle bars would you be interested in selling them to me. In case you are i have cousin in Hyd who would pik them up for me from you and send it across. It would be really great if you did as i feel they are wider and more comfortable than the stock iron bars. Let me know, you can call me if on 09845243753

Did you ride the bike with only the V&H installed, without the fuelpak and SS AC? And/Or with only the V&H and AC, no fuel pak? Has the fuelpak made any noticeable difference in power or even power delivery/curve? After the fuelpak do you think the fueling is spot on? Are there any flat spots? Have you lost any torque/power in the lower or mid range?
What handle bar is that? Is it comfy with the risers? Can you post a pic of you on the bike holding on to the bars? I want to see the reach. Also, your height pls?
You got the harley rear seat and pillion pegs kit? You didn't install a sissy bar? Is the rear seat safe and comfy without the sissy bar?
How's the ride, does it bottom out? Is it extremely uncomfortable on our roads?sigpic StreetFighter

Make sure you check the cable lengths before changing the Handle barsOriginally posted by raghuramgb View PostHi,

Thank You For the comments.
Yes i do ride the bike with V&H installed,i got it done after the 1st month of purchase and its been almost 11 months and the bikes running great.when i got the V&H , i got the fuel pack , Screaming Eagle Stage 1 Air Cleaner too.The fuel pack does make a lot of difference,my bike feels more torqy and power at tap.i use regular fuel and no additives.the fuel economy is about 18 in the city and 23 in the highway.i haven't noticed any loss of torq or power , i feel its runnin much better than it was in stock.Originally posted by Streetfighter View PostVery nice done mate. I love the ride. its a little bumpy on the potholes , will need to take the speed breakers carefully other than that rest is all great.Originally posted by Streetfighter View PostHow's the ride, does it bottom out? Is it extremely uncomfortable on our roads?Freak
