    Hey Nachaya, good to catch up again. You might recognise me as I...chief from RDD.

    As for the Sunday ride, it will be 6:30 - 6:45 at the Thane pump for rendezvous and then head together to Manas. It's gonna be a fun ride as there will be a good group and the weather is just fantastic now to ride.

      How was the ride ...post the pics...

      Hey sorry could not join today...me and the missus took off on a ride near Lonawala , have been promising her for some time and was called on..had packed breakfast , stopped over off the road, sat down for some yummy sandwiches and watched the world go by...

      need to get my bike registered ..cannot be extending my temp every week... : eek:

        Had some work in Pune so decided to ride down yesterday....took off a 6.30 am ...stopped at a friend's resort for breakfast - nirvana adventures (a paradise for para gliders ) ...started at 10:30 and headed into Pune town..the Sun and traffic was killing ...was to go to the other end - swargate...finished work by 2:30 and headed back...man the ride back into Mumbai was in crazy traffic all the way....

        After Lonavala I some how got on to the expressway...did a speed run with a Merc - the guy had an eye poping experience... suddenly it dawned on me that bikes were not allowed - a Km away from the toll I pulled over and was wondering " crap am in lot of trouble" luck came my way, there was a side road just 20 mt from where I pulled over - saw a highway maintenance guy and explained my situation...he was more amazed with the bike - smiled and said no sweat will get me out, took me thru the side road, waved a traffic cop by and dropped me off with directions to reach Khopoli..

        reached home with a sore arse and wrists...

                      After 2 months and 1800km my bike has been finally registered. The RTO tests every ounce of patience.....spent the last 3 days in and out of the place hopping across counters to get the damn registration done. Now no more ducking from cops:-)

                      Got myself one of those fancy nos so all izzz well.

                        So finally got the bike street ready, had to use power petrol filled in 5L to get me to BKC for the usual 97 octane...started getting a knocking sound from the engine....any of u guys face the same problem using power

                          This knocking problem prevails if you use anything less than 97 octane.Its common in litre bikes and above,but its always better to avoid low grade fuel.Btw,are you planning for any mods??

                                had to take her out on the 1st day of the year ....a good run to Manas on my own. Opened her out - not too much traffic ..guess last night helped with most of the folks sleeping off the booze...
