So I just heard deliveries where going to be given by the end of June for the people who booked in January. Is this true? And is the ducati dealership by Delhi still open?

Ducati 795
Hi im new to these forums just joined a day or so ago. I don't live in india but come to india at least twice every year for around 2 months at a time. I am planning on buying a nice super bike in india since in canada i only get to ride 2-3 months out of the whole year (snows a lot). I was looking at the ducati 795 and i could not find the on road price anywhere nor could i find any indian reviews or what the waiting period was for these bikes. So if any one could shed light on these three things it would be great.

Query ApprovedAdvice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

1:When Ducati was launched during 2012 auto expo, it was launched with the price tag of 6.99 lac ex showroom but within few days the price was slashed by a lac and now sits at 5.99 lac. So the on road price should ne between 6.50 lacs and 6.75 lacs.Originally posted by RSidhu View PostHi im new to these forums just joined a day or so ago. 3:Coming to waiting period, the Ducati dealer in india is screwing up. There are around 85 bookings done for this bike, but hardly any deliveries has been done. And now, as Audi has taken over, i think because of transition, it will take more time, as the Audi officials and the owner of Precision motors(they run Ducati Mumbai and Porsche) have some bad relations.
4:As per my source, there would be one new Ducati showroom opening up in somewhere North, not sure with the exact place."Four Wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul"

Thank you for the on road estimate and the review. Do you think by November the deliveries will all be made and by then will the waiting period be shorter. When you go to ducatis website they do show a dealership in Delhi but I heard that closed any confirmation on that? Because if the waiting period will be shorter by the end of this year then I dont have to book right now but if its longer its better for me to book sooner.Originally posted by pratheekkunder View Post1:When Ducati was launched during 2012 auto expo, it was launched with the price tag of 6.99 lac ex showroom but within few days the price was slashed by a lac and now sits at 5.99 lac. Well, to be honest, the way dealer is behaving here, i am sure the scene wont change till this year end.Originally posted by RSidhu View PostThank you for the on road estimate and the review. There is a big scene thats going between Precision Motors Director and Ducati which i dont want to mention here.
You should hear some big news about Ducati India dealer and Audi in coming months.
My suggestion wait for few more months and then decide.
