    Exhaust suggestions for my CBR 1000 RR 2012.

    Hey all,
    I have a CBR 1000 RR 2012 and have been breaking my head over which slip-on exhaust to go for. Have seen videos ( which do no justice to how these machines sound in person) of quite a few systems that are available in the market but got confused even more. Few of the exhausts that i have narrowed down are as follows: (all slip-ons)

    1. Yoshimura R-77 CF
    2. Scorpion Serket Taper CF or Titanium
    3. Jardine RT-5 CF (not sure if available for 2012)
    4. Brocks alien head
    5. Racefit "black series" (too loud somehow)

    Anyone who has any kind of experience with these or any other system, please help me select a nice system for my bike which isn't STUPID LOUD but should be loud enough for people to get out of my way. Also please let me know if any of the systems mentioned above have the crazy hunting sound made by the 2012 while idling(as in if its less or more in general). Looking for a system with least hunting sound.

    Ps: On the verge of losing it. Going mad seeing the systems over and over again. Mite end up keeping it stock

          Well a rider in our group is now running racefit. very coarse sounding exhaust IMO. loud yes , likable not so sure. he was running the yosh prior to these, had nice mellow sound. i have heard the brocks AH and they sound good . you ll have to listen to as many as you can before you make a decision. I am talking strictly in terms of your Honda.

            @Bladerunner & Bigron: How loud is the Yoshi. Louder than an Ackra??.. Dont want to spend cash and sound close to a stock..

            @Bigron: Have heard the Brocks AH on a busa...not on a honda... How is it?..is it racefit loud??

            @t_yash: the D&D sounds nice.. Not a fan of how it looks..

              i would suggest also check out Apex FMF exhaust.. sounds really good when twist the throttle and shuts up when you want it to shut up!!

                I've Acra FS on my 2012 Blade... As I already mentioned no other is even close to it... lookwise or soundwise..
                You have to decide, how much you want to spend... slip-on or FS..

                  @ shv18- have heard this exhaust but the sound is quite low... Thanks for the suggestion

                  @t_yash- Dont want to spend a bomb...hence a slip on.. Your ride looks killer man. I'm guessing your acra isn't a CF

                    Yoshi, Akra, FMF or Leo Vinci.
                    My personal fav on the CBR 1000RR is the Yoshi R-77.
                    The Akra def uses better materials.
                    A big no to Brocks AH. You see those pipes only on custom stretched bikes...and personally I dont like the look of them anyway.
                    Be good to your bike and get nice setup from companies that actually put some R&D into what they make.
                    Racefit pipes would be a very unique set-up, but I feel the design doesn't flow with the lines of the 1000 RR. quality wise they are top notch and I think they use titanium. Akra and Leo also use titanium internals if I am not wrong. But Yoshi is your most bang for buck...I think it also comes with the fairing plate to cover the exposed link pipe.

                          Akra pipes are never built for sound. Performance and craftsmanship are what Akra pipes are all about. They use only the best materials and make their products in a state of the art factory. Hence the premium price. You get what you pay for.

                          Yoshi is def going to be louder. It is also made of Steel internals, so it isnt going to be as light as an Akra. The Scorpion exhausts, I am not sure about. Scorpion I think just re-launched their products after a few years of hiatus. Scorpions were pretty popular earlier. I would still go for the Yoshi-R77. The pipes seems to have been specifically built for the CBR. Yoshi gets my vote.

                              Yoshi is my preference too.. But still looking if something better comes up. Any idea about the hyperflo exhausts??
