I am doubtful about this bit because of the laws of the land.

Another issue I have come to know is Spares. If you can also provide those, it will be even better.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Best of luck for your venture buddy. If you can get legal 600's there would be lot of buyers...the likes of CBR600RR, GSX600R, R6 etc...Also I agree Antz about the spares...people do get good deal on bikes here but spares is one thing which is expensive. If you can get spares for reasonable price, it will be profitable for both you and the buyer.

        Spares

All the best! I would suggest start of with spares and capture the market. There is no one stop point anywhere in local area where one can find the spares at reasonable prices.

You can bring in new / used bikes from ozz into india but the laws of the land would not permit it to be an easy execution. A very tedious and cumbersome import/export policy is going to break your back. Also the amount of effort you put it in terms of commission you going to earn would not justify. What you can do however is tie up with dealers/distributors there for the spares . But then again , you ll have to have a long catalog of parts and competitive pricing. But , with almost all established MC spares/parts websites now offering international shipping its very convenient to order from them directly. eg. i use pashnit almost as much as i use flipkart. Lastly , I was in ozz for close to 5 years and had a gen 1 fat gsxrr there. Just could not bring it with me due to various legal implications. So all said and done , the concept is great its the execution that needs to be worked out.

@yogi - if he is importing stuff he cannot sell it less than or comparable to what it will cost online internationally. There is shipping involved , postage and handling , customs and then commission. All this takes the price northward and forces you to think if its feasible to just order directly online.

Re: used superbikes dealership in gurgoan

Hi Abby. I'm also planning to start a used super bike dealership in NCR. I don't plan to import, rather buy & sell from the available options here in india. Have you started your venture?

            Regards
