Naked or Dressed up litter class does not make any sense regarding practicality in city... Highway its a different ball game...

One thing i like about CB1000 & FZ1 is that they dont drag much attention towards them in city.. its like riding a fighter Jet in stealth mode

India Superbike Festival 2013
Date: Sun, 20th Oct'13

Name it and it was there. All bikes & bikers under one roof with loud screaming exhausts, music playing, vintage bikes on display, riding gears and loudest exhaust competition. All in all a wonderful event and got a chance to catch up with many old buddies. Sharing some pics of the event.

There were 8 Ninja's in total in this ride so that is why the Green is so evident

Dams of Pune: Khadakvasla - Panshet - Varasgaon

Dams of Pune: Khadakvasla - Panshet - Varasgaon

Distance Covered: 465 kms
Route: Mumbai - Lonavala - Pune - Kothrud - Warje - Khadakvasla - Donje - Panshet - Varasgaon - Lavasa - Lonavala - Mumbai

Did something which I have never experienced on Ninja 650 so far. Offroading! Bad Roads! Loose Gravel! and much more for close to 100 kms.
We wanted to explore a new place where we had not been before and wanted to go off the usual NH highways so the search began on Google Maps and we froze on Dam! Dam! Dam! I mean 3 dams of Pune viz., Khadakvasla, Panshet & Varasgaon

About the ride, from Mumbai to Khadakvasla was a good speed run post which the roads were bumpy and lot of loose gravel. Loved riding the N650 on bad roads too. The upright stance and soft cushion made life very easy in bad conditions although the bike felt top heavy a bit while battling the bad roads. Radiator Fan used to kick in quite often and used to stop after sometime. I am yet to install radiator guard so I was riding very carefully to avoid unnecessary flying debri and stones hitting the radiator. Pirelli Angel ST tires proved their worth on the bad roads and I would recommend Angel ST above the stock Dunlop's performance for bad roads.

Internal road from Varasgaon to Lavasa is 100% bad roads all the way so those who want to venture this route be prepared for lot of off-roading

When are those LED lights arriving? Please try mounting it on the forks first and see if it helps. I somehow don't like the idea of mounting them on the fairing or mirrors.

Have you changed the chain sprocket? Mine looks to have developed slack at a few places and normal at others, it gives out vibes which gets uncomfortable at times. By the way I have just covered 7K

. I ride a lot with pillion I believe that must be the reason for the chain getting screwed up.

I have not ordered for LED lights. Pretty happy with the Extreme vision bulbs hence, not opting for LED's or Morimoto's at this stage.

Chain sprocket is still stock which has done close to 23K kms till date and good to do at least 7K kms more. I will get the sprocket checked next week at the service centre to check if there is any issues. Perhaps riding with pillion may have been the cause in your case. I have hardly rode with pillion on the N650 but that's all gonna change soon

Riding with pillion can't be the cause for chain-sprocket wear and tear IMO. Either the chain was loose or not maintained properly - cleaning and lubing for long distance.

It's exactly 3 months and 10 days completed and today my RC card has been dispatched finally after multiple follow ups with showroom manager. I asked them to send me a photocopy for reference till I receive the RC card. The showroom manager sent me a snapshot of the RC card and I found that the RC card has issues.

Bike Model is written as Ninja 250R and Cu. capacity is written as 249cc

All other details in the RC card are correct apart for these 2 items. Engine no., Chassis No., Registration date, etc are all correct.

In my views, this is dealer's mistake and followed by RTO's mistake as well. RTO cannot just pass RC cards with incorrect information without proper validation.

Few of the other N650 owners in different parts of the country also have issues similar. Issues with incorrect details in RC card like 1 Cylinder, 99cc, 250HP, 250cc. Totally unacceptable!
