Sachin - Have you started using a different app for uploading pics here ? I have been able to see all the pics from your
other travellogues here in the office. Even in this thread a few pics are visible and a few are not. ^^

Anyway, since the time I have joined Xbhp I have seen and read quite a lot of travelogues.
Eventually some names got familiar (I mean never met them personally but atleast on the forum). Yours is one of them.
If I remember correctly we came accross each other once at Sushil's workshop in Thane - SMG customs - near Hiranandani Meadows.
Your face seemed familiar as I remembered the pics from your Ladakh and Lahaul Valley travellogue. However, back then I had just
joined Xbhp and wasn't sure whether you are the guy. So didnt introduce myself. But then a few days later it was clear that it was you
and I was like - oye , i should ve atleast said hello... Anyway, we came accros each other again a few days back on a Sunday when you
and Rahul Kakkar were headed to Amby Valley. I was with Avinash Ambekar and there were many other riders who had joined us.
At one of the stops enroute both of you stopped to have a small chit chat with the known faces. You were already surrounded by a lot
of guys to congratulate you on your new acquisition and even that day I couldnt meet you , atleast congratulate you, i dont know why !
Anyway, but I sincerely believe that you are one of those hardcore enthusiasts who has been able to do 100% justice to your biking desires.
I have read all your travellogues and also seen your transition from the Jheemarr (sorry :P ) to this beast N650.
Hats off man and wish you many many happy miles on your biking journey.
Last but not the least - sorry for such a long post.

Nagesh - Really? I am able to see all the pics. I will check if the pics are visible without login in other computer's just to be sure. Few pics are image link location from Facebook, Majority of the pics are uploaded from Picasa, Few of them might be uploaded as attachments. Hence, probably few of them did not work for you. I will check and see if I can make the necessary changes.

I visit SMG's shop quite often to catch up with TURN group and probably next time you see me ensure you come and talk, I don't bite :P
I remember when I & Kakkar stopped when we saw all you guys headed to Lavasa but there were too many unfamiliar faces.

FYI, Zee is still with me, I have not sold her
Thank you for all your inspirational words, I need it to continue what I love to do i.e. Ride a Motorcycle!

Last but not the least - thanks for patiently reading this post

Ok. I will try again and check if I am able to see all the pics. Else will have to check from home.

I live in Dombivli so I dont visit SMG that often. Anyway, now that you have assured that you won't bite
then next time whenever we come accross we'll definitely meet . And yeah I agree there were too many
unfamiliar faces on that Lavasa ride (which ultimately ended as an Amby ride).

I know that the Zee is still with you. I was just talking about your transition to a bigger and meaner N650.

Its always feels great whenever I see someone prosperously embarking on their motorcyle journey especially
when I am unable to do it.

Last but not the least - No need to thank man.... Anytime... All the best buddy.

I was looking out for a GPS tracking tool and found a tool called 'My Tracks' in Play store of my android phone. All I need to do is switch on the GPS & internet on phone and hit start at the start of journey and stop once the journey ends. It will track the entire journey with incredibly accurate figures provided there is mobile network coverage. Below are the stats which I was able to record in "My Tracks" on return journey from Charoti to Thane.

              RC Card Issue

It's exactly 3 months and 10 days completed and today my RC card has been dispatched finally after multiple follow ups with showroom manager. I asked them to send me a photocopy for reference till I receive the RC card. The showroom manager sent me a snapshot of the RC card and I found that the RC card has issues.

Bike Model is written as Ninja 250R and Cu. capacity is written as 249cc
All other details in the RC card are correct apart for these 2 items. Engine no., Chassis No., Registration date, etc are all correct.

Now, following up with Showroom manager to find out root cause of this issue and how to receive a new RC card with correct details. Such a hassle!
In my views, this is dealer's mistake and followed by RTO's mistake as well. RTO cannot just pass RC cards with incorrect information without proper validation.

Few of the other N650 owners in different parts of the country also have issues similar. Issues with incorrect details in RC card like 1 Cylinder, 99cc, 250HP, 250cc. Totally unacceptable!

I think seeing your registration no. they must have reversed it with N250

It really feels nice to see so many Ninjas together on a ride. Especially if thats your favourite Motorcycle brand.

Regarding the RC issue I think its clear that its the dealer's fault and eventually the RTO's fault as well. God knows when will things improve.
We can just pray and hope ! I hope you get it sorted peacefully without any more hassles.

Spoke to the showroom manager and he claims this is RTO's fault and it is with many of the owners in different parts of the country. Now I have to first wait for the incorrect RC card to be delivered then submit it to KTM showroom and then wait for god knows how many days before I get the corrected RC card.

I just hope while all this gets fixed I dont face any trouble. I think incorrect rc card will create issues in case of insurance claims, if vehicle gets stolen and in case of selling.

Bro nice Ninja you got there. regarding the RC card issue, yes you will have to wait until you get the incorrect card and then pls get hold of a good agent who has access to get in the RTO offices where the ladies do the punching of data into the system. I remember the time i have gone thru with my Rx100, got RC books with Yezdi/Crux 100 etc etc. Finally my RTO agent did his magic helping the lady there to choose the correct make and model. All the best

lol! that's typical of the RTO & the drunk pandu's there ;-)
years back, i was issued a card for a figo while i was awaiting one for my fiesta.
i.m.h.o. the prerogative to furnish the correct info rests w/ the dealership, more than anybody else.
as i keep saying... never a dull day in paradise..!
