@Sachinnair : now now aint this supposed to be a green affair?
btw must say that one looks astonishingly stunning!
i prefer things to be a bit discreet & understated & hence wud prefer an all black matte finish as well.
the current trademark green is literally an eyeball grabber!
any mandate / restrictions by bajaj / kawasaki on owners changing the color the bike as such? what is the warranty period [if any?]

Even if Blue, Black & White were available I would have still gone for Green
I don't think you'll void the warranty if you change your bike color but this is something you'll have to inquire with them. But you would need to update your RC card if there is a color change. Warranty is for 12 months.

whymailMatte black with few glossy bits will look nice…stealthy. I liked the glossy black that was on the N250. The bike looked premium and the finish was fantastic!

I dony know why people didnt like this paintjob, Somehow i'd prefer the 13 version over the 12. The matt black appeals me more than on tone. Choice apni Apni..

Had a small spin in heavy pouring rains yesterday. No pics sadly, had just visited ronit motors, as a friends is thinking of buyin the Hyosung gt650r. And damn i must say, this bike performs extraordinarily in the rains. No slipping, no scaring, just plain speed and handling, be it wading through knee deep water, or 120+ on down pouring rains on the highway, this bike, beats it all. I'm simply in live with it.

Re: The day i brought "Mystique" home

Impromptu plans work out the best. My friends Gt got delivered and we headed out for a nice spin in the rains to Igatpuri. Intitiall the plan was to head to Manas resort have breakfast and head back. But due to Intense Fog, we passed the Manas turn and in turn decided to have breakfast at Shagun, 5kms ahead of Manas.. I must say not 1ce did we encounter rains and never did a single part of us got wet the weather was amazing, cold and misty. Only the bikes were in complete mess. Joining us today was Melroy. I must say 650s perform best when kept in mid-range. A fun filled travel of 350 odd kms through Mist, Fog, mud and insane curves. I'll let pics do the talking. It was a pleasure having you with us Melroy(sorry i dont know hot to tag people here.)

Yes sir. We didnt encounter any rains but there was a lot of muck around on the roads. It took us 3 hours to clean those 2 bikes. :P Pics are attached below.

Yep. The Gt has has aftermarket upright handlebars.

Date 7-7-2013

Trip to Lonavala by 4. Joining us today was a fazer 1 till Pen naka, rest were a Hyosung Gt 650r, Cbr 400RR, a duke 200 till kamath. Trip was till kamath to meet the big daddy of all Ninjas, the Zx-14r which was en route from Aurangabad to Lonavala. We were to visit the lions point later. Me the Gt and another ninja 650 proceeded to Lions point to meet a group of Cbr 250s. The atmosphere was lovely, chilled fog everywhere. Visibility was almost zero.

Distance covered 185 kms.
Time taken : more than 6 hours as the atmosphere was foggy and chilling.
Fe given: Surprisingly 28kmpl again...

Attaching a teaser for now. Pics are not uploading somehow.
