You mean CBR 600rr with konica minolta kit?? Is that from Mumbai/Pune side?
5.5 is actually tempting. BTW, how much would the paperwork cost to convert the beast into legal on Indian terrain

Too high...cause these bikes are illegal, so when you go to the DRI they will catch the previous owner as well. In addition to the paying full duty expect to pay fines as well which in many cases brings the price closer to that of a legal liter class, and dont forget that all of this is done at a snails pace during which period they would have already impounded your vehicle. One of the main reasons, why many confiscated bikes are then left to rot by owners
Behind every great rider is an even better pit crew. Mine is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kaulso...57871924291255
And every great rider also needs to relax and hang out somewhere. I do that at http://www.facebook.com/2wheelengine

.....Live Life as such that your tombstone does not read "He Died" but instead reads "He Lived"

well guys been through a lot of classifieds, talked to a lot of people but could not find a legal bike within my budget. now i have decided to go for hyosung gt650r 2013 model. i know it is not a supersport but i think its enough bike for the indian roads and it looks sexy. i will keep it for a year or so and sell it, as hopefully triumph would be operating by then and daytona would be readily available.

If you plan to sell, buy a ninja 650... hassle free ownership and much better resale and wayyyy better as a package.

i too first thought about going for the ninja 650, but i dont like the looks at all. its a touring bike, it doesnt even sound like a superbike. i guess you are right about the resale part, but looks are much more important than that. just for the sake of good resale value i wont ride something i dont like.

what are your thoughts about gt?

By your comments on reselling, it seems you are not short of Greens

Go on buy and enjoy your Hyosung. You will be surely pleased, to ride it.
