• Need to buy a Ducati

Hello forum, I want to buy a Ducati Multistrada, but am unable to find the way. I have already called on the numbers listed on Ducati India, but none of them worked.

Re: Need to buy a Ducati

lastone : I was able to get through to the ducati chandigarh number a few days back (had to ring twice). The helpful person on the other end of the line said that no ducatis are being sold and they havn't received any in the last 8 months. He did say that there is hope but no assurance that they might eventually receive some bikes. My query was around the Ducati 696. Meanwhile they continue to provide service backup to existing customers.
I have heard that Ducati had some problems with authorities during homologation and many people who had pre-booked have filed cases <not sure of this>

lastone Go to Facebook and type - Superbikes Classifieds. The first result with maximum likes & members should be your way of getting one. Once you're a member, you can post your query to get results; this page has helped many in the buying & selling of SBKs around.

Pardon my ignorance, but which bike from Aprilia competes with Duc Multistrada/BMW GS? I see a few off roaders from them and rest track focused bikes, but none are sofa seat tourers.
Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Or the Honda VFR 1200, if you dislike attention, that is.

People are going to think of it as a modified CBR 250.

Lol so true, but you should test ride it some day. It is one smooth automatic bike, ideal for touring on "asphalt"...

Thanks a lot guys for your suggestion and inputs. Just want to know one thing, Sunny, is riding Multistrada all across the globe, and doing it quite convincingly I believe, why he has not written a comprehensive review on the multi till yet.

Sunny, are you listening buddy
