Re: which super bike confused ????
Very truly said, Sherwin. Puts at ease my mind too. I was buying a new bike and was confused between Thunderbird and Duke390. Later realised that only reason for duke was it's insane power, other wise I'd always love to ride the Thunderbird. So finally decided to go for that.Originally posted by Sherwin View Post

Re: which super bike confused ????
Well said there when one is on the lookout for more bhps and bikes that can do greater speeds, sky is the limit until 300kmph. A day would come when even the 300km mark would appear slower at that time one would come back to a bike which could give a soothing ride. I would any day own a bullet over any liter class bike.Originally posted by Sherwin View PostI've seen a couple of SBK owners who have owned REs in their past and even now inspite of owning the finest liter-class bike they still miss their RE. It might sound funny to lots of people here but truth is always crazy. Even You have said the same that You miss Your RE TB. So deep within Your heart You have the answer.
Lots of SBK owners here and every where else own their machines just because they love doing triple digit speeds. But, biking is not just about doing triple digit speeds or scrapping the footpegs.
PS: Bandits are also quite tempting for its practicality and features that no other bike offers in its price range like a centre stand, adjustable seat and ABS.

Re: which super bike confused ????
Congratulations . Though not a harley fan , i have to admit the 48 looks uber cool in an old world charm kind of way. Let me warn you though , you cannot expect to tour extensively on this thing without making regular fuel stops coz of the small fuel tank. The peanut tank Looks good visually but hardly solves any practical touring purpose coz of its peanit capacity. In the end if it works for you , the great. .
