Re: El Diablo - Triumph Street Triple 675
It's been a while since I last posted, have been a few uneventful months due to rains and not many rides. The Triple, though, has got some new additions.
First of all I got the Euro spec conversion done, which involves changing to a free flow Arrow exhaust, getting the euro spec air transition box and the Euro Arrow Map. This gets the bike close if not equal to its 105 bhp mark.
After these mods, the bike has become very rev friendly, jumping off to the redline whenever possible. The engine feels less restrictive and the sound of the Arrow exhaust gives the bike a new character, the true hooligan, if I may say. I also popped my first wheelie on the ST, need to get an action cam to record such bravados
Also, I got a pair of aftermarket levers from Ali express, these cost 1/10 of the Triumph branded ones but are more or less same in the build quality and finish. These were more of an aesthetic upgrade initially, but after using, I find them to be more comfortable to use and the braking efficiency has increased. This might be attributed to better adjustibility and lesser bulk as compared to the OEM ones. I have also ordered a belly pan, but that will take around a month to be in stock.

Re: El Diablo - Triumph Street Triple 675
The Arrow exhaust + Air intake window + remap + labour was 40k.Originally posted by Suraj200 View PostHey hi just wanted to know how much did the whole mod cost, because I am going to buy the Daytona for the power it make and what is the torque figure is it close to Daytona.. thanks
Daytona sold in India is 118ps and has a torque figure of 70 Nm.
Euro spec Street triple produces 105ps and torque figure of 60 Nm.
More than the power, I'd suggest you to buy a bike according to your riding style. Daytona is very aggressive and in normal usage will punish your wrists and back.

40k seems like a very very good rate, its a arrow slip on right?Originally posted by paradoxx View PostThe Arrow exhaust + Air intake window + remap + labour was 40k.

Yes it is a good price, got it slightly cheaper mainly due to GBP fall during that time. Usual expenditure comes out to around 45k.Originally posted by Deathwing View Post40k seems like a very very good rate, its a arrow slip on right?
Edit: Yeah, it's an Arrow slip on.

Hello,
A small confusion, was the expense borne by you or by the Triumph? I thought the company was giving this option of remap and exhaust to all the owners who had got the bikes prior to the power figure fiasco for free. If it wasn't born by Triumph can you or Moderators please direct me to a link which discusses this matter in detail?
Sorry if I sound like a noob here!
Thank youAweSome is too LesS!

The compensation from Triumph was only for bikes bought before Nov 2014.Originally posted by vinbex View PostHello,

Thank you
After that they made full disclosure regarding the detuning and hence its at the onus of the owner.
I bought my bike in first half of this year, so all the mods were at my expense.
You can find more details regarding the detuning incident on Sharath's thread.
