Yes, I would also like to know this. Does these modifications void the warranty?

I dont' think so, cos these are manufactured and marketed by Yam and not by some other 3rd party specifically for the MT.

This is an official Yamaha kit, made especially for Yamaha and only sold by them. This cannot be bought from Akrapovic or Akra dealers .... hence the steep costs.

So, it better not void the warranty or I'll be really mad

It doesn't void warranty but it may be an issue with Insurance companies. Check this angle out.

@SF: Rewind to the old days, and try to catch the Onida ad. Owner's pride, neighbour's envy.. I'm the devil from the ad..

Seriously, I love what you've done to the bike. Helmet on the mirror included

Don't worry about the warranty. You're all clear unless someone wants to make a ruckus out of it.

Thanks mate, that's my day time Jet style helmet. Not worried about warranty and insurance issues in the least bit.

I was going to go all out and get the Stage II kit (headers and ECU) + K&N and airbox mods but the price is insane, not worth spending so much for 5 to 10 BHP gain.

                      Cheers

Guys, if you hear a loud 30mm Gatling gun cannon sound passing by do not worry; war hasn't begun ..... it's just me on my MT ....... without the baffles

Seriously, I pulled out the baffles and it sounds mad

Don't ask me to post sound clips on YouTube as there are many there already and you will never get the true aural reproduction on a low quality video clip. Also, I don't have any professional sound recording set up

@ SF - Can you share some details on the Stage-1 kit? Ordering / shipping and what all was included. Where did you get it installed?

Do you have access to a dyno?

I'm gonna say OUCH! but as you say...there's more go for the show so perhaps it might be worth it in the end. You must be pushing a tad more than 100 horses now.

Next round of mods: wavy discs, may be K&N (if I can get my hands on data), bar end mirrors, rear sprocket.
Don't filter without PCIII. Don't know about the big bore/stroke bikes but the revvy units can run really lean. Adding an air filter after the exhaust with proper Fi tuning with the PCIII will really bump up the performance.

Bar end mirrors with Auto-rickshaws will be interesting. Don't drag them too far

Does wavy discs mean Petal discs? Any specific reason other than aesthetics? And a rear sprocket to make the gearing shorter or taller?
