    Congrats on the bike.

    How have you confirmed if this is a legal import?

    The only legal '06 R1 I have known till now is the one John Abraham has. It was imported by Yamaha India for him.

                        haaa haa thats too easy and one more added perk of my career....i just work 4 weeks and i get 4 weeks total off after that...isn't that enough for the two ladies!!!so i am home every alternate month...and when i go for work my bro takes her out....simple eh!!

                          i have a whole file with me here..the a copy of the bill of entry,duty paid and cleared papers,life tax,octroi,full insurance,R/C and a copy of the owners passport too...i guess that should be enough and now even if it is not sooo much legal i cant do anything...please dont start this topic again guys!!!

                              first of all the owner was not a kid with rich mom n dad this guy was in his 35's and the bike was imported from dubai by a hotelier friend of his as they have the import license wwhich grants them only 5.5% duty saying it is for client business purpose.... i have a whole file with me here..the a copy of the bill of entry,clearence from embassy(yeah they need that too!!),duty paid and cleared papers,life tax,octroi,full insurance,R/C and a copy of the owners passport too..well what can you call it beginers luck or what!!!.i guess that should be enough and now even if it is not sooo much legal i cant do anything...please dont start this topic again guys!!![/quote]
