Congrats Sunil! See you on a DOC Bengaluru ride soon
Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Some of the greatest stories in the world are not written, they are experienced.

Thanks bharatheshk, haven't seen the long way around series, will search to see how that is, most videos were from My Sena 10C helmet cam or My Kid shooting from his Panasonic fz 200 or My Wife's Ph Yes the Enduro is VERY Heavy and VERY Tall too the combination is crazy and have dropped it at stand still during offroad thrice till now! haven't dropped the Comet for decades! not the Duke 390 even once. more on that later.

Yes looking for a Adv Rider Buddy with similar state of mind to explore more, this was actually a family trip Kid Mom and Spouse were always there with me, bike was very new no fooroad tyres and no enduro kit too, so didt't push it much.

The stay at Kuteera in Chikmagalur was excellent, the cook cooks excellent veg food in middle of nowhere! Its a wooden cottage and has beautiful mountain views
The Owners are good too, had met Sanjay in another trip to the same place, I liked the place so much that have been there 3 times in 6 months!

hisunil Hey, nice to see you save that little snake on the road

Congo on the big bike!
Maybe some practice/training on bad surfaces would make it more pleasurable riding the bike

Re: Ducati Multistrada Enduro 'what a tool'

There has been a lot of work on the MTS

Added the 3 packs
• Enduro pack (bought from Ducati Bangalore)
• Chain guard
• 2 Radiator Gards
• Crash guard
• Fog Lamps

• Urban Pack (hand carried from UK)
• tank bag (very useful)
• USB charger inside tank bag
• Center rear box (very useful) always store my helmet in it and gives back rest & confidence to pillions

• Touring pack (hand carried from UK by Uday, Thanks Uday)
• handle bar bag (don't use didn't fit)
• Side panniers, lots of unbelievable space & excellent build quality and utility for family touring, locking box is like a boon.
• Heat grips, fitted but didn't use in out climate

Repainting & lacquering
• Mirrors to two-tone
• front panel and mudguard
• side panels are advertised every where as aluminum but its actually steel, didn't like the buffed look, two tone following curves
• Rims both front and rear, buffed sidewalls

Other accessories and mods
• VA terra Claw donut bag, very good lots of space, easy to secure on the bike.
• Side stand extender, didn't fit well, will weld it sometime
• Extended Tented visor, looks great and works very well when touring, in off-road a bit of an issue to see the road just in front of wheel unless standing.
• Extended rear seat, custom made seat to accommodate my sone and home minister
• pushed rear box by 2 inches to make space for seat, very painstaking mod! but its done and works well
• Flag post on the rear view mirror mount
• Ram mount for the phone, very useful

let the pics speak

Maintaining these things is a very tedious job .When you renew the insurance of one vehicle the second one will be due for service while the FC of the older model will be due for renewing. You seem to have maintained them in top condition going by the photo ,are spares available for the Comet and Yezdi and how do you find time to ride them all regularly ?

3 months ago I gave my bike (Duke 390) to My Bro as he is waiting for good ones to be launched in 2018 like the TRK502 (i don't recommend that) I like the SWM if its launched. The yezdi doesn't need any maintenance not even a battery! Yes have comet spares from my old stock of around 17K INR, and do ship from online https://www.hyosungsource.com/ whenever needed.

The Multi also doesn't need much servicing as interval is 15K Kms, having sed that I spend lots of time with my bikes, Jeep (Trax Gurkha) and a bit on Sonata V6AT too.
The insurance alon set me back by like 60K inr this year and thats a real problem!

Cheers
