The tire huger snapped off and went into the rear wheel / swing arm on the highway ... one locked up back wheel at speed! I wa doing well over 100kph when it went BANG!
I had to push the m***r all 200kg of it over 2km to where luckily there were road works and it was safer to put it on the stand and take a vid ...
I have since found no less than 26 people in Australia and Asia (by posting on all the Ducati forums I found) who all own a scrambler who have had the same front fixing of the huger *SNAP* on them. So including the 5 people I know of in India that makes 31 in total. Here is the pics after I survived the highway ...

I have contacted the MD of Ducati India "Ravi Avalur" and they still have NOT done a recall!
Here is a video of the damage to the bike and what happened!
I was one luck MOFO as that highway has claimed a LOT of lives ... if I had lost it and laid it down I could have gone under a coach / truck / been hit head on by a car (use your imagination).
Here is a thread I started on the scrambler forum.

Tire huger FAILING on the scrambler. This WILL KILL someone ... | Ducati Scrambler Forum
I had the head Ducati tech in India tell me that they are having a lot of issues with the Hyper / Monster and my scrambler is the 5th tire huger to snap at the front fixing in India that he knows of!
This issue will KILL SOMEONE and when it does I will be waiting with all the emails etc ...
Then Ducati, can not say "we didn't know!"
Here is a guy with a Monster that is under 1 year and it is falling to bits !!!
Start digging and YouTube will throw these shitty Ducati vids at your front page!
I will NOT buy another Ducati, EVER!
My next bike will be the Yamaha MT-10 in Black. The one phrase that comes to mind with Yamaha, is no warranty issues!
